Pelvic pain clinic oxford

Hi I have my first appointment at the pelvic pain clinic in Oxford coming up and I was wandering what to expect. I have been struggling with low left sided pelvic pain which started 2 weeks after a lap I had 2 years ago to remove left endometrial cyst and adhesions all left side. As many of you will understand I have been around the houses with my symptoms with knowone knowing what to do with me. My pain follows some sort of pattern being much worse around ovulation and before my period but then it can flare up at other times too so my 'pattern' go's out the window! I have kept a pain diary. I also recently had a swelling in the area i get most my pain which went down after couple days. I've tried amitriptyline and had fake menopause which neither helped. I had to stop working a year ago as it got so bad. I guess it's going to be a collection of things contributing to my pain and I don't expect a magic wand that will make everything better but I'm just anxious about making sense and being taken seriously! Any advice or experience from clinic in Oxford from anyone who has simular situation would be greatly appreciated...
