Simvastatin-induced erythromelalgia: less is more
This forum, Thyroid UK, is particularly aware of statins and their contra-indications. Furthermore, the whole cholesterol orthodoxy is questioned regularly. This case report is (rightly) explicitly critical of the handling of the woman and her diagnosis of erythromelalgia - rather, failure to diagnose

Came off the coil to try to conceive, and PMS symptoms without contraception are knocking me for six...any tips?
Came off the coil to try to conceive, now on my third period, and each month I am completely drained, having to leave work early, can't keep my eyes open, having extreme heavy bleeding and bleeding through my clothes (on tranexamic acid to help with this ), my mood is also terrible (of course!) 🙄.

How to come off T3
Hi all I realise this is probably very individual, but is there any advice on tapering off T3? I posted a few weeks ago that I'm struggling, as it has brought on my withdrawal symptoms from amitriptyline very strongly. Because of the change in my metabolism, I imagine. The whole amitriptyline saga

Amitriptyline causing steady increase of spots
Has anyone else sufferd terrible spots and it of them on amitriptyline? Every week I'm getting covered more and more. The obvious would be to stop taking them but have to taper off slowly and just wondering if anyone has had the same issue? Thanks in advance kat.

The invisible disease
Hi I’m just reaching out really to say how hard it is to work with RA. I’m totally on track with my job, but the bouts of fatigue are severe around now as I’m pushing my body to its limits (im a gardener). I sleep because of the Amitriptyline, it also helps mentally to stay positive. I also take Hydroxychloroquine

Stomach strain
I’ve had ibs for years but over the last year my symptoms have got a whole lot worse. What used to be cramping with diarrhoea has now turned into the most horrendous pain without need of a bowel movement that leaves me faint & unable to stand. The next day after I have an attack every muscle in my torso
