Advice needed
I have a mild form of Fibro and take 2 x 25ml of Amitriptyline at night this is for pain in my hips and back as otherwise I get out of bed in the morning crawling around the place on my hands knees. If the pain is really bad I take Naproxen and Codeine. Over the last couple of weeks I have had this

More spots an betadine
I had my third injection three days ago. I experienced a little black disk with white in the middle. It moves around and sometimes I get floaters. I did not have this with my first two. I see people have disks but they go away quickly. Anyone have this long lasting? I have no pain or problems

New with Questions
Hi, Very glad to have found this site. I am in Australia, female and 55. I was admitted to hospital about 18 months ago for over 2 weeks with a severe one sided headache, noise and light sensitivity. After lots of tests scans, mri, blood and whatever else I was released with an undiagnosed headache.

Amitriptyline
Have recently been diagnosed with IBS and have been given Amitriptyline tablets 10mg, 2 tablets at night. Has anyone else tried these? Got a few reservations about taking these. Thanks

Prednisolone diary 8 - round in circles
Back down to 4mg for the past 4 weeks and nothing has changed. I had an initial consultation with a neurologist this morning as the latest attempt to get to the bottom of my chronic fatigue and shaking/sweating/nausea episodes. He confirmed there was no sign of neurological problems, which was reassuring

Hi everyone, does anyone take citalopram and amitriptyline together? Does it help your depression and sudden outbursts of paranoia and anxiety?

8 weeks of daily headaches :-(
I am looking for some help. 8 weeks ago I experienced what can only be described as the worst head pain I have ever experienced. I was sent straight to hospital for a suspected brain haemorrhage. I had a CT scan, lumbar puncture and lots of blood tests which all came back clear. Fast forward to today

Constant pain
I have been suffering flare ups of bladder pain for around 2 years. The doctor said it was linked to diabetic nerve damage and gave me amitriptyline. At first it helped now I've had a bad flare up. Constant pain and feeling of needing to pee but no relief when I do. There's no stinging or burning when

Doctor prescribed me iodine, but far less than recommended
I just had a chat with the rogue doctor, they suspect mitochondrial issues. In the mean time while I get my amino acids tested I am advised to take iodine, but less than I did before (150-350 mcg), they recommended as little as 50 mcg at first for long term to see what happens. I am also getting tested

Amitriptyline, celexa, and klonopin
I have been off amitriptyline now for 3 weeks. The doctors took all my meds off me 3 weeks ago bc of serotonin toxicity. The withdrawals were horrid. Then a week later they started me back on 5mg of celexa and 4 days ago klonopin to sleep. My stomach pain is just grueling. I can't figure out what is

Can you develop an allergic reaction to meds after taking them for a while?
My go told me yesterday that the "bites" i have so many of aren't, they're an allergy to something. She's given me an antihistamine. Asked me if I'd been near poison ivy - I haven't! I can't think of anything and I've had them for a good couple of months. I've never had anything like this before.

Types of folate and B6 to accompany B12
Hi all! I've been browsing this forum with keen interest over the last couple of months. My situation/experience is very similar to many on here. Two years of visits to GP stating "tired all the time" and numbness tingling in feet (but without linking the two symptoms; nor did the GP). Then 9 months

Betaken and Pepsin
I have read an article advising Hashimotos patients to take Betaine and Pepsin with protein meals. The writer said she regained a lot of energy because most Hashimotos patients have low stomach acid and taking these helped with digestion thereby saving energy. what do you think?
