Yet Another "New Kid"
So I don't know if it matters, but I noticed through my reading that most of the posters are in the UK. I am in the US and have been reading the boards for a bit while I waited for the rest of my results to come in and for the final confirmation. I was informed on January 8th by my gastroenterologist

7 Months post ablation and wearing a monitor again
He felt pretty sure these are groups of ectopics and not AF but I am not so certain, especially as the AF episodes prior to the ablation were

coming in short "bursts" He said, as others have on here, that everyone gets ectopics up to hundreds in a day but most people don't notice them.

Ice Bucket Challenge!
The Ice Bucket Challenge for raising awareness and money for Motor Neurone Disease (
ALS
) has gone around the world. What can we set in motion for PSP/CBD awareness and raising research money that would be just as simple and just as effective. Cheers T.

Ice Bucket Challenge
For those who haven't, basically people are having buckets of ice cold water poured over them to raise awareness of
ALS
and raise money, they are videoed doing it and them they nominate more people to do it. Does anyone know if there is any risk to to an AFib sufferer?

Low Calcium and B12
I am hypothyroid (3 years and adequately replaced on levo 125mcg). I have just got my latest blood test results back and although the GP hasn't contacted me I've looked at the results and think that treatment is required. I'm not sure if low calcium and low B12 are related but if I can understand

The Liver Function Test (LFT) If you've just undertaken your very first LFT, this brief note may help you to understand it a little better..
This test usually consists of up to six separate elements – the results of which will assist in diagnosis. However, the term "liver function test" is misleading, because it can measure possible hepatocellular damage (temporary or permanent), rather than liver function. The LFT should consist of all

Can I motivate for checking my own inr levels as well as anticoagulant clinic?
I was diagnosed with
ALS
about 15 years ago after 2 dvts a year apart. I have been on warfarin since and dose has increased over the years in order to remain in inr range 2.0 to 3.0. All the comments about low inr, high inr and feelings now make sense. I've just had a call to say inr 1.3 .

Fullness in head
A neurologist ruled out MS and
ALS
and concluded this is "most likely" Parkinson's Disease. I have experienced bizarre symptoms (as noted), in addition to others, episodically for about 3 decades. I would appreciate anyone sharing his experience germane to the above.
