What now, coach? (PCa has spread to liver within 3 months of starting Eligard.)
Hello all, I have a dilemma, and I would definitely appreciate any ideas that you might have. The dilemma is, will it be safe for me to start my initial Docetaxel treatments on Monday, 2-28-22, considering the new information I now have showing my PCa has rather dramatically spread to my liver. CD19 CAR-T cell therapy for B-ALL achieved remarkable efficacy with a complete remission of 70–90%
This looks interesting but way over my knowledge base. Perhaps some of you super brains can figure this out. In recent years, the increasing advancements and applications of cellular immunotherapy have enabled the use of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy, and it has emerged as an efficacious

Hi, It's been 7 months since I made my last community post on
ALS
. I was diagnosed with
ALS
IN Jan. 2021. I also survived a bout of Covid in April 2021 only because my Doctor was able to get me treated with the monoclonal infusion.

Liver enzyme question.
I know there are lots of posts about the alt/ast ratio. I have spent more time than I care to admit reading about that damn ratio! I just wondered if anyone had any experience or educated opinions on an inverted ratio alongside low alk phos levels? I recently had bloodwork done and my AST was 21, ALT

[Fentanyl effects on glutamate and GABA release rates from anterior hypothalamus] and [Fentanyl inhibits GABAergic neurotransmission]
I suspect fentanyl inhibition of GABA progressed my
ALS
. The NMDA receptor and the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors are the two main receptors responsible for the actions of general anesthetic agents.

Liver function and Atorvastatin
Hi all, I had a heart attack in November 2021 and part of the cocktail of medications I was given was Atorvastatin 80mg one per night. Prior to my heart attack, in May 2021, I had an age related "MOT" including a liver function test. On that occasion my serum alanine aminotransferase levels were 17

Pernicious Anemia or ALS
My mother died from
ALS
back in the early 90's. I now have been diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia. I wonder if she really had Pernicious Anemia. Don't have her medical records anymore so I can't check to see how her B12 looked or if it was even tested. It haunts me.

ALT & ALK exceptionally HIGH. Feeling very very anxious.
Hi, New here - this is my first post - hope all is OK. My ALT & Alk. Phos blood test have, ‘gone thru the roof’! I have been having monthly blood checks on the liver since April last year – numbers slowly reducing. My last monthly LFT was end of October, 2021 results being at the high end of normal -

Cold Laser and EMDR!
My chiropractor is working with a lady who has
ALS
for 11 years. She was part of a study 10 years ago at the University of Utah with 15 patients and she is the only one still alive. Sounds like I am full of it but I’m not. At almost the exact same time I started EMDR treatments.

1st, sorry this is long... Made my Mama's homemade Tamales! Where did I get the energy. You tell me. This past year has been strange. Got my vaccines and the booster. And after my 2nd vaccine I experienced about week of energy. It was weird. Told my hep about it. He shrugged his shoulders. I just enjoyed
