Week #59 Update: DEXCOM (Actualización núm. 59 de la semana: DEXCOM)
Okay, so tomorrow is my last day using the sensor that I had inserted last Saturday. It has been very odd this week with the sensor I have been using. It started acting up since yesterday afternoon and parts of today while I was at work. Bien, por tanto mañana usa mi día anterior el sensor que había

New Sensor is Here Today! (¡Nuevo Sensor está Aquí Hoy!)
This afternoon, when I got home, I saw the box for my new, free sensor from DEXCOM. It was sitting up against the bottom part of the door to my house. I'm not sure how long it had been sitting there, but it looked okay when I opened the box and checked to see if it had any issues. To me, the only

Chemo 5 put off and Taxol stopped
After my bloods have been just 'OK' for the last two chemos to go ahead (chemo 3 had 7 bloodd test results at or below the lower limit and chemo 4 had 10, including RBC, WBC and HB) I've Just been to my meeting with the Oncologist today who listened to my list of additional issues since chemo 4: migraines

numbness anybody?
hi i'm new to this site. I have suffered migraines from the age of nine, after the menopause they seemed to become less often and less severe but in the last year they have been back and are somewhat different. I now get a feeling of pressure and numbness that stretches from the top of my head down

Thanks
I want to thank all of you who took the time 2 answer my question about neuro's and PT's. I guess PT's can help a bit since neuro's cant currently at all.I know that if and when my neuro calls me to say there is a miracle cure, I will take it in a heartbeat. Till then I will follow my Aussie PT assiduously

Lab tests:
Hi, all...I have to go to the lab on the 24th of June to have my thyroid level tested. I've been on levo. for 6 week at that point. My doctor has me on 25mcg of levo and I'm not really noticing any difference yet. Should I take the levo. pill on the day of the test or skip it, so the reading of TSH will

Cough,cough,cough
Can anybody explain the following to me please. Since being put on to RELVAR inhaler,I find I am coughing and getting gunk up off my chest. I was always led to believe that if this happens you should be aware that you may be in for a chest infection, and therefore start your rescue pk. I've been like

Replaced Sensor on Monday afternoon: DEXCOM (Sensor sustituido el lunes por la tarde: DEXCOM)
I'm considering this to be starting week 51 because the sensor I had used since Tuesday last week failed yesterday (Monday) on the way to my job for the Senior Center. I was so upset since this meant that I had no idea what my blood sugars were without doing an actual finger testing here and there during

Week 50 Update: DEXCOM (Semana 50 actualización: DEXCOM)
What an odd day yesterday with the DEXCOM. The sensor that I have been using since Tuesday this week kept going "on the fritz". Every so often, I wouldn't have any data on the receiver and no one who was a follower could see any new numbers, either. Some of this was happening during my day at my job

Rough winds do shake...
...the darling buds of May; or in this instance...me My wonderful run across Carsington Dam, on Tuesday morning, before the rain arrived, was not to be replicated yesterday morning! After a wonderful day cycling on Thursday, I thought I would take a leisurely ,repeat run, before we headed home.

DEXCOM WEEKS #45 & #46 (SEMANAS DE DEXCOM NÚM. 45 & NÚM. 46)
So, this is the oddest two "weeks" for me using the DEXCOM system. When the first sensor failed/stopped working recently, I was on the phone getting in touch with the DEXCOM's Support Tech to get myself a free new sensor sent to my house. While on the phone, the replacement that I had inserted didn't
