Thanks for this Tad, its a very interesting read, and very relevant to a lot of us. I knew about vitamin b6 being helpful, but not B12 which is particularly relevant to me just now, as I am unable to absorb it properly. Presently having daily treatment and having tests to find out cause, as pernicious anaemia has now been ruled out.

I will look into the other helpful tips they give.

Thanks again,

take care,

hugs from Huggs xxx :)

Oh thats interesting Huggs - hope they find out why you can't absorb it properly. I have been a great believer in vitamin B6 - a long long time ago my family had race horses and I remember they were given vitamin B6 injections as a pick me up! So I just figured whats good enough for them ha ha!! I am actually taking metatone tonic at the moment which is full of B vitamins for wait for it................. a horribly swollen tongue (not so bad I can't swallow or eat) and apparently that is linked to vitamin B. Have a good day xxx

Hi Tad,

That doesn't sound nice at all. I think I remember reading somewhere that it can be linked to lack of vitamin B12, as well as others and can be a sign of pernicious anaemia, but I assume you have been checked out. I remember getting fed metatone tonic as a youngster and dreading it. lol Hope your tongue is better soon, and I wondered if you had, had tests for food allergies as well.

Take care, and have a good weekend,

Thank you Huggs - I have not been checked but was going to the doctor next week and will ask when I am there. I was wondering about food allergies - daft as it sounds I think it could be too much sugar. We had a really busy weekend last week and ate out a ridiculous amount and I completely pigged out - Monday my tongue was bad! So I am also trying to drink lots of water and sort of detox. A very good friend told me that she always had one day a week of water only and was sure it was beneficial - to be honest I'm too greedy for that business!! Take care, TAD xxx
