Nhs consultant says Ski's is a scoundrel
One of the problems with having devices inserted into your body is the possibility that your body may be allergic to them and react unfavourably or even try to reject them.as we all know this also happens with living tissue and the need for anti rejection medicines is standard practise in most post transplant

Feeling fragile
In the past few weeks I keep checking myself for allergy signs. I feel very fragile that I may break something get an allergy cause from the air. I even get a red spot and I freak out and in a few seconds it’s gone. I try telling to myself is nothing but sometimes it gets me.

Writing, on behalf, of my Mother
My Mother is allergic to Gluten, and Lactose, along with a few 'combination' allergies. She can't have broccoli and swede together, or melon and pineapple in the same meal. We are both 'away', this coming week, so I will mention this 'Forum' to her. If she is willing then I will Apply to you, on her

Allergy phobia
I very occasionally get the sense that I’m having an allergic reaction and checking my skin if I have some type of rush. I’ve had an allergic reaction to the sun twice in my life and even so it was a symptom of stomach pills. every time and I keep checking if something is wrong even a mosquito bite

World Food Day - How To Make The Best Of What You Eat?
Importance of a healthy and nutritious diet You will seldom come across a person who does not like to eat. Nothing can be more satisfying than binging on your favorite cuisine. Though the choice of food may differ from individuals to individuals, most of us live to eat. It is not without reason that

Allergic asthma
How soon after a trigger do you show symptoms? I found out from a blood test that I have a high allergic reaction to dust mites. The weird thing is I can wipe up dust and vacuum without as much as a sneeze. But I’ll get short of breath while I’m driving in my car. Is this a delayed reacting to the dust

Allergies: the scourge of modern life?
This might seem to be off-topic, and in many ways, it is. However we do see an awful lot of people here reporting that they have suffered allergies, or what appear to be the symptoms of allergic reactions, since being hypothyroid. Some already were sensitive, and seem more so. For others, these reactions

What I wish I had asked (when first diagnosed)
Hi everyone I’ve recently read an article about shared appts with doctors, and whilst it’s not something I would like personally, it does bring up an interesting point - very few people know what to ask when they’re first diagnosed (with asthma)! I know I never asked questions, mainly because at the
