I have had anaphylactic shock several times when taking B12 supplements....B12 is low and Drs here think I'm crazy when I tell them I have an allergy to b12....I've been feeling very tired and stomach hurting and bloating. My blood test is <150. Wondering what my next step should be.
The Drs almost killed me several years ago. I'm not returning to any of them. I'm frustrated because they think I can take the B12 and just get a rash....but I had anaphylaxis and I also had a patch test proving allergy to Cobalt but it was over 10 years ago...it was such a bad experience, I an reluctant to be tested again. Any suggestions is appreciated.

When I was diagnosed with P.A. 46 years ago I was (jokingly) told that I would need to eat raw liver three times a day - or have B12 injections for the rest of my life.
I obviously chose the injections but as that option is not viable for you is there any possibility that there is a food preparation that is so high in B12 that you can eat in the hope that enough will "get through"?
I'm sorry if you think this sounds a silly suggestion but it was the only remedy available back in the early 20th century.
I am not a medically trained person and I wish you well.
Looking back in the posts , someone wrote about taking dried liver tablets from grass-fed cattle , ( from Argentina ) When you mention B12 supplements causing Anaphylactic shock , what sort of supplements do you mean ? (Just looked for the dried liver tablets . You can find them on Amazon.com. .)
Hi, I have had terrible reactions when I’ve had b12 injections also with oral b12 of any sort. Also I react to any synthetic b12 in food, cereals and soya milk for instance. The only way that I can keep my levels up is to drink a litre of skimmed milk a day it works amazingly well. Nothing else in my diet makes any difference but the milk works100% for me. (I actually hate milk!) apparently it is more bio-available than other natural sources of B12.
