Anxiety can take many forms but it is always anxiety (continued)
I notice that many on this forum have a fear that taking medications leads to
addiction
. I believe this, once again, is over sensitised nerves magnifying ten fold the natural reluctance to rely on meds into obsessional fear.

So tired and itchy and tired of being itchy
I told her how I felt and she tried giving me a prescription for ReVia, (naltrexone) which although a drug for treating alcoholism and drug
addiction
(of which I am neither, I rarely drank, almost never now that I have been diagnosed and have never taken illegal narcotics), she said one of its side effects

What Should I Do After a Slip Up?
To recover from sugar
addiction
is trial and error for quite some time. First, a fall is not a failure, it is only a lesson. Sit down with a pen and paper, and think back to the days prior you had your slip or what you like to call it. What could you have done differently?

Anxiety-The Fear Monster. "It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live." Marcus Aurelius
He had anxiety, depression and
addiction
problems. This is for him-for the life he might have lived, for the life that you still can. Fear is the deadliest and most destructive force ever inflicted upon mankind.

ultimate goal. it is not hard, not at all. and i wish i had done it years ago. no books. no money spent. no idiots telling me what to do. no people talking down to me. to buy special shakes or products. just sensible eating. cutting out most of the baddies. its just common sense. sugar is my enemy. its an

I've had a lifetime of battling with my weight and body image issues and an
addiction
to binging. My weight has oscillated between being underweight (not that often!) to "healthy" and up to severely obese...and then back down again...and then back up again!!

The Dangers of Taking Pramipexole for An Extended Period of Time
My doctor and I worked together to resolve my
addiction
to Pramipexole and I am not totally off of it as I currently am taking .124 MG X 2 a day. So I am not totally out of the woods as far as getting totally off of the drug.

Nicotine - 'Premier League' of addictions
I got me thinking about how nicotine
addiction
compares to others and wanted to share mine. I wont go into details, but over the years I have dealt with a number of other addictions of 'harder' substances. For me personally, quitting nicotine has been the hardest by a mile.

Advice 10 months into quit
The physical
addiction
was easy. The meant side is where I always failed. This is my advice to anyone struggling. Unless you change the mental attitude then it will be so, so hard. Read about
addiction
. Read about
changing your attitude
to smoking. And
never stop reading

Medical...
I feel like shit at the moment, probably partly because of the time of year, I am lonely, single, no kids, my family live in a differnet country and I have had
addiction
problems since I was 15. But the major thing that's freaking me out at the moment is the dreaded ESA medical!!!

4.45 - watching interesting BBC news programme
Switched on the t.v. and watching BBC news programme on drug
addiction
. Am sure it just said 4/5 heroin addicts in USA started on strong opiate painkillers. My doc might prescribe me Tramadol, is it really that strong, addictive and dangerous?
