Why can't I stop drinking?
I've been referred to community
addiction
at my request but they only tell me what I already know. I was hoping to be prescribed Naltrexone but have to be abstinent first. If I could stop drinking I wouldn't need help! If I smoked there'd be no stigma and a range of readily available treatments.

I don't like what I am.
He told me about his past heroin
addiction
problems, some of the stuff he told me still gives me the chills. I thought highly of him as he broke his heroine
addiction
. He gave me confidence. Some time later my mom gets out of ICU and comes home, struggling to come up the steps on her crutches.

Please don't judge but.......
I'm almost sure my Dr will not Prescribe opioids so I'm considering Kraton after trying everything from Diet changes , supplements, oils even soap in my bed 😄 I have been researching Kraton and my concerns are the possibility of
addiction
( would only need it a couple times a week) .

Hepatocelluar please help
I had a mountain dew
addiction
and drank nothing but that all day everyday. I lost appetite a long time ago due to my pain meds so rarely ate and if I did it wasn't wonderful food, lately I have had a very different loss of appetite though.

What Causes PSP -- My theory.
I've been told by 3 different neurologists that no one knows the cause of PSP -- so I am putting this out there: My husband was on prednisone on and off for 20 years for severe inflammatory small bowel disease(Crohns) - 6 small bowel resections and with that a Dilaudid
addiction
that took him to a detox

The end is in sight
This is a cruel disease, as is
addiction
, and though I am hoping for some kind of miracle, I know in my heart it is unlikely.

Slaying milk tea and sugar addiction
I struggle to wean myself off milk tea and sugar, my greatest downfall/trigger is office tea. Once i see my colleagues serve, I find it difficult to restrain myself. Please share tips to overcome.

Day 1 of the rest of my life!! Panic has set in
That's his
addiction
, mine is food. So if he is going to do that for the sake of his health then I need to make an effort too For a long time I've pretended that I eat the same as everyone else.

It's almost like an
addiction
, I find it very hard to stop. How have you all dealt with these cravings/urges? How do you cope when your feeling hungry?

When a non-quitter has too many opinions
Has anyone had issues with someone close to you that is an active smoker who seems to know how to correctly quit, has all the answers, opinions and facts yet has never quit attempted to quit their own
addiction
? Well, I have a parent who is this way.

Living with CLL since 2004, no treatment, no information!
But as time has gone by I have been "losing the battle", I think due to my sugar
addiction
. My white blood cell count was 14,000 when it was discovered and confirmed, and is now in the 60 - 70,000 range.
