Vitamin D3 for pain?
I have been taking vitamin d3 at a dose of 10,000 iu per day (5000 am and pm) to try to help my chronic hives, and I think I've stumbled on help for my period pain as my last period was close to pain free! I've only been taking d3 for 3 weeks and know I need to keep an eye on my levels (10,000 iu per

Risendronate
|At third attempt saw GP who seemed to understand PMR/GCA. He's referring me to rheumatology and neurology to determine whether what was diagnosed as GCA by first GP is in fact that. In the meantime I continue on 30mg Prednisolone with slow reduction after six weeks. My symptoms have lessened considerably

Been prescribed ferrous fumarate and vitamin d
I've managed to persuade the duty GP at my surgery that the results of my recent French blood tests are something to be at least mildly concerned about: ferritin 4 and vitamin d 17. He really didn't seem that worried by either. Anyhow, he's prescribed ferrous fumarate 305 mg per day for 30 days and

Has anyone taking vitamin D3, linked vitamin D3 to having 'Hypo's' with Type 2 Diabetes please ?
Apologies this is not Thyroid related, but I feel this is the best HU site to ask my questions on as many members on here are aware of vitamin D3, many on here also might take it and many on here might also have Diabetes Type 2. * Has anyone or someone you know with Type 2 Diabetes and taking vitamin

Mental health or thyroid issues?
Hi all - apologies for the length but I hope you can help. I was diagnosed in August 2013 with an underactive thyroid following the birth of my son. I had put on 4 stone in my pregnancy that I just couldn't shift no matter what I did and was incredibly anxious/down and lethargic with a lot of head fuzz

Could vitamin D3 help RLS ?
Not sure if this would or could help anyone, but this is my Story and what happened to a Friend of mine also. I had bloods taken and vitamin D was found to be low, so my Doctor prescribed me 1,000iu of vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) I use to find it difficult to sit down for long as it hurt so much on

Not sure whether to ask GP for more tests
Her vitamin D was below normal and was prescribed
Adcal
D3
My question is should the GP do further tests, we have been waiting to see if the results for MS and Myasthenia Gravis came back with anything and now we can rule these out just wondering whether she should have the tests for PA or are we better
