Morning I have found that on this site quite a few with fibro have had to have vitimin D .I did in jan for few months have bloods done every few months xx
I sincerely hope that you are feeling well today? I have low Vitamin D levels, and it is a particular issue for me as I have recently been diagnosed with Osteoporosis, and need Vitamin D3 to help my body absorb Calcium. So my Consultant has prescribed me Acrette D3 to go along with my Alendronic Acid tablets.
I genuinely hope that you can get your levels sorted, and not endure any longer lasting health issues as a result of your deficiency.
As a matter of interest; my wife has Primary Progressive MS, and it is now standard procedure to monitor all MS sufferers for low Vitamin D levels! As research has shown that MS sufferers have low Vitamin D levels. We went on an MS awareness course earlier this year at our local hospital and covered all of this!
I'm light skinned and have had low vitamin D counts in the past. I now take vitamin D with K and it's seemed to help. Vitamin K is suppose to help the vitamin D absorb easier. Hope this helps sweetheart!!!! xxx Mitzi
