Acid Reflux
My trouble started just after Christmas, keep feeling sick all the time, doc thought it was
acid
reflux
possibly caused by my hiatus hernia, Prescribed loads of PPIs which made things worse, in the end used Gaviscon mint which made it a bit better, then I got mucus with my stool, gradually got worse

Cream (autophagy) fast
Fasting is good for you - and helps you lose weight, reverse insulin resistance, etc. But I do not need to lose weight - and autophagy is another benefit of fasting. But I came here to ask if it possible to feel the stomach

ALPHA LIPOIC ACID FOR RLS?
Has anyone ever taken alpha lipoic acid and noticed a great improvement in RLS symptoms? I'd like volunteers to help me to test it out. I have been noticing improvement, since my problem is inflammation.

Alendronic acid - to take or not to take?
Hello, I’m new on here. I have severe asthma and have been taking quite high doses of steroids since January. My gp has suddenly prescribed alendronic acid to prevent osteoporosis. Hello everyone, I haven't posted too often but read all of your posts. I appreciate hearing about all of your experiences and take comfort that I am not alone. I want to share an update of where I am in this journey. I am hoping someone will relate and/or gain some benefit from my story. Also hoping

Looking for some advice?
I dont have any heart burn, indigestion or
acid
reflux
, just a constant ache/pain in upper stomach everyday with swelling but normal bowel movements. Ultrasound showed a small liver cyst but was told this wasn't causing my problems.

Gastric Symptoms
One of the many symptoms I have is difficulty swallowing, digesting foods (a lot of

and heartburn). I saw something online about Gastric FND. Does anyone know anything about this? And do others suffer with food issues?

Can I have info on Alendronic Acid?
GP rang to say that recalculations had been done on my Dexa Scan and now I have osteoporosis in both my hips! I asked for time to make my decision, so all info will be helpful to me. MY own inclination is to say no thank you, because of all the side effects, and because I am already on so many drugs

Is omeprazole necessary?
Now that my GP has their own pharmacist I had a conversation with one the other day. She was concerned I wasn’t taking omeprazole and I explained my reasoning behind it. When first diagnosed six years ago I started it along with alendronic acid totally oblivious as to why. After a few months and realising

Advice about Alendronic Acid
I am 54 and had an early menopause, so after a rib fragility fracture was sent for a Dexa scan. My result is osteoporosis in the spine (t score - 2.6), osteopenia femoral neck (t score - 1.8) and left hip (t score - 1.0). My risk of major fracture within 10 years is 9.6%. I have been prescribed Alendronic
