Continually Burping
My GP said he thought it was
acid
reflux
caused by anxiety. I have been suffering anxiety and depression and am on medication for both. He prescribed omaprazole in Dec but it's got worse and worse and some days I burp continuously for hours. I don't experience any burning sensation just gas.

Sense-check, Hashi Swings, and inability to lose weight
I just wanted to sense check my plan for optimising my health, considering my latest blood tests have arrived. So scroll down to blood tests, as first, I am providing all sorts of contexts for reference. In short, I have Hashimotos and have been testing at least twice per year with Medichecks. Bio

Thoughts on digestion/acid reflux
In October 2020 I had a polyp removed from my throat (benign) which is believed to be caused by
acid
reflux
. My main worry is the future getting frequent
acid
reflux
and what that could lead to. Like everyone feels its enough to deal with Rheumatoid Arthritis let alone the extra add ons as well!!

Newlyish Diagnosed Grateful to find this website
Hi Everyone, I went to my GP back in November thinking I had either an ear or sinus infection, thankfully she was on the ball and after taking something like 10 vials of blood she sent me home with 60mg perisdione to start immediately with a suggested diagnosis of GCA. I think at that point I wasn't

Feeling really down
I have recently started treatment for recurring cancer.Rubrac a didn't work for me and I have already had Carbo/Taxol and Carbo/Caelyx. As my son and his family are visiting from New Zealand in July (prompted by my increasing ill health) I decided to try Anastrazole tablets rather than weekly Taxol,

How Can I fully evacuate my Bowels?
I do not think I have IBS as I am lucky I have no pain, no
acid
reflux
. I do exercises to strengthen my anus. I have changed my diet much more vegetarian. I drink lots of water. I do not take any medication and rarely use laxatives! Any advice I would be so grateful.

Dietitian for acid reflux
Can anyone recommend a private dietitian who can help with
acid
reflux
. I've read a few books - the
Acid
Watcher and Dropping Acid - and have been eating a low acid diet for the last year, but not sure whether to stick to this diet (it's not helping so much, now) and try GF or low fodmap instead.

Confused about osteoporosis treatment
Hi all, in 2019 whilst lifting my suitcase at the airport I had a horrendous pain in my lower back. Fast forward a few months finally got a x-ray which showed a compression fracture of L2. Finally got a dexa scan in April 2021 and confirmed osteoporosis of the spine with a T score of -3.9. My doctor

What exactly does acid reflux feel like?
I've had
acid
reflux
for around 2 years, mainly early days it was just a lump in throat feeling, leading to coughing and fatigue. I got healthier and it did help a lot but would come back now and again. For the past week or so though its progressed, assuming these other symptoms are that.

Osteoporosis at 29
Hi all, I’ve just been diagnosed with osteoporosis and I’m 29. This came about as I realised my toe was broken but didn’t have a clue how it happened so went to A&E. They x rayed it said it was fractured and also said my foot density looked on the lower side and to follow up with the GP. I did that and
