Acid Reflux

I tried Alendronic acid which I felt made my acid reflux worse and felt like it was sticking in my throat even though I was drinking full glass of water and sitting upright for over 30mins.

A couple of months ago I had serious attacks of acid reflux, I’m now on 40mgs of Pantoprazole per day.

Just quick question, I found out I had cirrhosis march 23 they January 24 tops esaughagus varices after having a bleed, had 7 bands and up till now been fine but last few days had terrible acid reflux which I know people get but mine just started any info or could it just be normal?

Turns out to be acid reflux , now on Pantaprazole twice a day and maximum Gaviscon during day. Still my stomach is noisily protesting and if I take gaviscon in middle of night I think my heart starts thumping . Advice needed please.

The alendronic acid I haven't taken for wks as it gives me acid reflux. I'm seeing my GP in the new year, it would be great to have some advice. Thanks in advance

I have been suffering with acid reflux for years.

The drs said acid reflux and could ve the hrt, hormones or the stress i feel waiting 12-18 months for a full hysterectomy.Im on omeprazole 20mg morning and night and now famatodine 40mg every eve. Does anyone else suffer with digestive or reflux issues.

Hi does anyone have silent acid reflux and cough, I've had a cough since November my doctors say its silent acid reflux , but I don't get acid burning, I had surgery some years ago with a stomach rap , meaning I only have half a stomach. Can any one please put my mind at rest .

I was at the hospital today with a bad cough and lower back pain, I was told I had acid reflux but I had surgery 11 yrs ago to fix my problems I had a stomach rap , I need to talk to my own GP as my symptoms are nothing like acid reflux.

I always wake up nauseous and panicking and with insane acid reflux. I don't know what to do. It's making me scared to get a job because i might get acid reflux there and even v*mit. I have emetophobia.

Last 2 days ive got really bad acid reflux, burning tummy and occasionaly bringing up sick. Im on omeprazole daily and ive now started gaviscon aswell. Ive read this is another problem with endo. Wondered if anyone else gets this and how to deal with it

You know you owen body ,so when something not right and you don’t trust the hospital or doctors what ever very say who do you turn to for help .I've had my chesty cough for 8 weeks and don't believe it's acid reflux, I know the symptoms of acid reflux has I had surgery for it , I can't use my cpep

Just wondered if anyone had had acid reflux/heartburn with the zoledrolic acid infusion?

Initially, it caused stomach pain, which has since subsided, but now I’m dealing with acid reflux, with acid coming up my throat. I’m not sure what to do, especially since my appointment with my private doctor is still seven weeks away.

I was at hospital today with coughing for 7/8 weeks and bad lower back pain , or the doctors come up with was acid reflux, I know what acid reflux feels like after having part of a rap , I was told to see my doctor in a weeks time .

I am taking Vitabiotics brand at the moment but for reasons I don’t yet, they now give me acid reflux (along with other foods and possible some brands ofT4). If I am suffering acid reflux after taking them, could this be making the vitamin D levels low?

i have acid refulex for years with a moderate hiatus hernia and a weal flap . Always controlled it with nexium. Many time when it act up it causes asthma to act up. the dr said i did not need the surgery I caught a virus cold 2 weeks ago with bronchitis which made my cough variant asthma

Is there anyone on Pantoprazloe as a safe long term solution for hiatus hernia and acid reflux rather than lansoprazole that is not recommended long term?

I constantly had acid reflux for 15+ years, ranging from being mild to keeping me up at night. I eliminated several foods from my diet, tomatoes, most fruit, spicy food, etc. I was constantly taking Rennies or other antacids.
