Hi, I'm joining Health Unlocked because my health is deteriorating. I had a head injury 9 years ago and this led to my being diagnosed with FND. One of the many symptoms I have is difficulty swallowing, digesting foods (a lot of acid reflux and heartburn). I saw something online about Gastric FND. Does anyone know anything about this? And do others suffer with food issues?

Have FND for 9 years, I have noticed that for me acid reflux is getting worse and I have to prop myself up on a pillow at night , am on Lansoprazole for this but think its time to talk to me doc again. I also have wind pipe spasyms, these are terribly painful, but the doc only suggests strong pain killers which knock me out, this cant be the answer!

Hi Cocoferraro, thanks for replying. It is horrible isn’t it? I really feel for you. Can you eat ok? I am restricted on intake and couldn’t eat at all without Omeprazole. But at least I have that. I also have a huge mountain of pillows at night. I also have symptoms of Sinusitis which wake me up through the night. I don’t think anyone has the answer but I have a copy of Louise Hay’s you can heal your life and am working through the emotional stuff. Hope the doc can help you.
