Fasting is good for you - and helps you lose weight, reverse insulin resistance, etc.
But I do not need to lose weight - and autophagy is another benefit of fasting. (You re-cycle damaged cells, amino acids, viruses, and rubbish - and rebuild a new, younger self afterwards.)
Dr Mindy says, to get into autophagy, we need to keep our protein intake below 20gm per day, so I am eating:
300ml of cream - 4.5gm protein, 1,345kcal
and 1/7 kg yoghurt - 7.5gm protein, 57 kcal
per day.
Yesterday I had an avocado, which, apparently has 4gm of protein.
...so that was 16gm of protein yesterday.
...and, eating 1,400 kcal a day, I am not likely to lose much weight.
Is cream a good (short term) diet?
