DHEA has brought back periods!
Hi I'm posting this to several forums to try to get some advice. I'm treating my adrenals in advance of treating my thyroid, in the hope I might not need to do the latter. Following a saliva adrenal stress test through Dr Sarah Myhill in the UK (where I live), I've been supplementing with 20mg DHEA and

Missed period after stopping the mini pill.
Hi. Im 18 years old and have stopped using the mini pill Cerazette after 6 months as it was completely not working with my body. (I'd been on the combined pill before for about a year before hand also). With the cerazette pill I'd miss periods and get some every two weeks and then had a four week period

Heavy Periods
Hi I have recently had my thyroxine reduced to 75mcg because of palpitations...I have been feeling a lot better as apparently my dose had been far too high (long story). Over the last few months I have been experiencing horrendous heavy periods...after a night shift last night I woke with palps on

Help for heavy periods with migraines.
I have been feeling really good recently since starting B12 and ferretin supplements apart from when my period starts. I bleed heavily for a week and have the most awful right sided migraine which completly wipes me out. Can anyone suggest something which could ease the symptoms. Doc has prescribed me

Acceptable level of period pain?
I haven't yet been diagnosed with endo though have a laparoscopy booked for 18th June. I started my period yesterday, which are always painful and heavy, but today the pain is so bad. It feel as though my insides are falling out. The stabbing pain in my right side is immense and it is making me feel

Has anyone taken Clomid/Provera??? Just about to start and i'm a little nervous!
I have just had my 2nd lap to remove Endo and we have been TTC (unofficially) for 3 years with no joy. The next step is Clomid. I heard this is maybe bad for Endo??? I have very irregular periods due to PCO so to actually kick start a period I have to take Provera first. I have always had horrendous

Period started after Decapeptyl. Will I get same pain soon or will endo still asleep a while?
I had a first and the last Decapeptyl in the end of February. I had to stop it as I had severe side effects. My period started this morning. I have some period pain but compare with pre-decapeptyl pain, it is still OK. Should I expect the same pain from next month? or will endo still sleepy a

Where's your pain? New. Help.
Hi, I am new to the site and haven't yet been told if I have endometriosis yet as I am not having my laparoscopy until June. I saw the consultant today who gave me an internal examination and said that everything was fine but suspected endo. He did though say something about my pain being very low down

How long should I expect to bleed after mirena coil fell out?
Hi, I had my mirena coil fitted 19 months ago in an attempt to combat heavy & painful periods, I then bled pretty much for 6 months solid & was beginning to wish I'd not had it fitted but then after the 6 months it settled right down. I had only light bleeding every 6 weeks or so and barely had any

Does a laparoscopy delay your cycle?
Hi there, I had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago for excision and diathermy of moderate infiltrating endo. I was due on my period 5 days ago, but it still hasn't arrived. I have been experiencing some pelvic and back pain, which I know is normal when you get your first period after a lap but is it normal for

What can I do to relieve very heavy periods and possibly improve pre menstrual symptoms?
Further to the recent question regarding pre menstrual exacerbation of symptoms, I have a related one. Since starting warfarin my pre menstrual symptoms appear to have worsened (I feel generally very unwell, very tired, and may get one or more of the following: extreme nausea, very anxious and sometimes

Hello (new to the site) - was just wondering, does the mini pill (if it doesn't suppress your cycle) afford any treatment for endometriosis?
(Writing this at work, so will have to go soon ..) Am worried that every time I have a period on this new pill the endo will be building up again :( - can no longer take combined pill due to one frustrating visual disturbance :( xx

No periods with Hypothyroid?
I understand that less frequent and lighter periods can be caused by HYPERthyroidism but what about HYPO? I've not had a period since last August. I'm 43. My hormone levels were checked, found to be high, checked again and found to be normal (FSH)....... But still no period! I'm on 50mg levothyroxine

Why don't I have heavy periods? I have endo.
I had a lap in feb 2013, having another one end of March. I have endo in pouch of Douglas , my tubes are blocked and clubbed. I had two cysts on each ovary, one burst the other was removed in my lap. I was taking pill back to back with a week period every three months, I actually stopped taking this

Adenomyosis pain
I have a history of endometriosis and 18 months ago I was diagnosed by a endo specialist with adenomyosis. The pain has been almost constant as I bleed for three weeks out of every month. To date the zoladex is the only treatment that has stopped periods and the severe pain that causes me to be sick

irregular periods
I have only really been tracking my cycles since I was trying for a baby before I was diagnosed with endo s3/4. I have been on a course of prostap which I had my last injections 29/08 my first period after this (which was horrendous) was on 8th September - I never had another one until 14th December.
