Normal Periods
Hi, I'm just wondering if it's normal to have no periods for 4 months with suspected Endo? I Had more problems after having my son, periods seemed to stop altogether, I was breastfeeding so thought nothing of it, they came back with a vengeance! Now I don't know when I'm going to have one and I've not

Pain after period
For the last few months I've got off pretty much scott free in terms of period pain, but this month I've been absolutely knocked sideways by pain after my period. This morning I could barely get out of bed. The only way to describe it is a feeling like I'm carrying rocks in my lower abdomen. I've always

Irregular period cycle
Hi ya, for the past 9 months my period cycles have been vary in each month. The shortest is 24 days while the longest is 44 days. Each month differences would be between 3 to 15 days. Normally, my period cycle 28-30 days. Irregular cycle makes me hard to concieve as it hard for me to identify the day

Pelvic & womb pain that stops period and gives severe pain?
I am 39 years old and have been suffering from severe pelvic pain. I have had an ultra sound and although it has shown nothing I have been told my symptoms are likely to be endometriosis. I am interested to know if anyone else is experiencing what I am because when I research I can only find symptoms

Fertility Issues?
I have been having unprotected sex for around 4 years. It hasn't really crossed my mind before as I've not been ready, but has recently starting to play on my mind as my partner and I have been talking about children the past few weeks. I started my period when I was 11, for the first couple of years

Endometriosis and PCOS
Hi All I have had a long and complicated history! I was diagnosed with PCOS at 13 and put on the combined pill. At 18 I started to get sever migraines and was removed from the pill. What followed was a series of years in which I was given every type of contraceptive possible, progesterone only, to try

Does zinc make periods last longer?
My bacon and egg toastie got stone cold while I typed out a post, and it didn't post and vanished!!! My periods are always regular and fairly moderate. In my early twenties they went from lasting 7 days to 3 days which pleased me no end and have been the same since. I had a shoulder op in September

Progression of endo - How fast can symptoms worsen?
Hi everyone, So I've been to a specialist gyne that has a good knowledge of endometriosis, and she seems pretty convinced that I have it. I've had a few milder symptoms for well over a year - irregular and heavy periods (every 5 days at one point), painful bowel movements, constipation, nausea/vomiting

DHEA has brought back periods!
Hi I'm posting this to several forums to try to get some advice. I'm treating my adrenals in advance of treating my thyroid, in the hope I might not need to do the latter. Following a saliva adrenal stress test through Dr Sarah Myhill in the UK (where I live), I've been supplementing with 20mg DHEA and

Missed period after stopping the mini pill.
Hi. Im 18 years old and have stopped using the mini pill Cerazette after 6 months as it was completely not working with my body. (I'd been on the combined pill before for about a year before hand also). With the cerazette pill I'd miss periods and get some every two weeks and then had a four week period

Heavy Periods
Hi I have recently had my thyroxine reduced to 75mcg because of palpitations...I have been feeling a lot better as apparently my dose had been far too high (long story). Over the last few months I have been experiencing horrendous heavy periods...after a night shift last night I woke with palps on

Help for heavy periods with migraines.
I have been feeling really good recently since starting B12 and ferretin supplements apart from when my period starts. I bleed heavily for a week and have the most awful right sided migraine which completly wipes me out. Can anyone suggest something which could ease the symptoms. Doc has prescribed me

I haven't yet been diagnosed with endo though have a laparoscopy booked for 18th June. I started my period yesterday, which are always painful and heavy, but today the pain is so bad. It feel as though my insides are falling out. The stabbing pain in my right side is immense and it is making me feel
