Do I have endometriosis?
I’ve had really bad hip/pelvic pain for years which is still un diagnosed. I’ve had blood tests, seen physios in the NHS, private physio, chiropractor, osteopath and a muscoskeltal specialist and still no one has a clue what it is. I have been told to take ibuprofen, codeine (which makes me feel ill)

Hi everyone, Not really sure where to begin.. I was referred to gynae last year because of my heavy periods, pain and bleeding during/after sex. I was told last year that I was 'very bulky' and my cervix was bleeding and inflammed. Gynae told me to stop taking the pill and so I have but symptoms haven't

Progesterone Creams
Hi All Can anybody help advise me on Progesterone creams and what they help with? I was on the Progesterone only pill for bad PMS/Heavy periods and it made me feel dizzy and extremely lethargic, so came off it. Do the creams help with PMS/Heavy period symptoms and would it maybe benefit me to try? Do

Only one period after starting mini pill
Hi! I'm new here, but I'd like to ask for some advice regarding the POP. I've changed from a combined pill to a progesterone only pill, and the week after I started a pack I got my regular period, which wasn't light nor heavy. This period was about a month ago, should I have another one now? I have

Period pain after failed cycle
Hi all. As if it wasn't enough that I've failed this first round of ICSI, my period is really heavy and super painful! The cramps are coming in waves which i usually only get a day before and day of my period. I'm on day 2 and they aren't disappearing. I'm assuming this is to do with the progesterone

Shoulder tip pain
Does anyone else experience shoulder tip pain with their period pain? I had it after my laparoscopy and when I had an ectopic pregnancy but I now also get it with normal periods. Anyone else? Is it “normal” for endo?

Period after laparoscopy
I had my first laparoscopy last friday and had some adhesions lasered off. My period's due next week. Is it likely to come when it was due or does the lap tend to mess that up? I'm getting some fairly grim pain and trying to work out whether it's surgery pain or endo/period pain. Joy!!

Contraceptive pill to stop period
Hi I currently have an endometrioma - I've been told I need surgery but in the interim (I'm struggling to get through to my consultant) I'm keen to stop my periods as I'm already in quite a lot of discomfort and have a rather bloated stomach. After a previous surgery for the same thing I took Loestrin

Cycle after failed IVF
Hi, we had a failed round of IVF which ended in late September and my period arrived a few weeks later as expected. That cycle showed that there’s a problem with fertilisation (no fertilisation even though 11 eggs collected) and we were told it was very likely we would never conceive naturally (although

Absent periods
I’m undermedicated- can anyone else relate to
absent
periods
with hypo? I also have low ferritin which is odd but a comment on my last post has prompted me to ask if this is common or not.

Question About The Pill
Hi, everyone. I've got my post-op appointment at the end of September, so I'm going through my treatment options. Since my lap a month ago, I've barely had any of my usual endo pain. But I'm considering stopping my periods because they have a big impact on my life. From my research, I've learned that

Progesterone and your period
Hello, I was wondering when after an egg transfer should my period be due? I had my egg transfer on Monday (5days ago) I’m feeling like I’ve got PMS and the usual dreaded period pains since last night. The clinic advised me to test next Friday, but am thinking it hasn’t worked and my period is due in

Period clots with mirina coil
Hey girls, Hope you're all doing well. This is my second post in this forum. I've had the mirina coil inserted just over 3 years now and for the most part it's completely stopped my periods. I used to suffer with extremely heavy periods where I'd clot a lot and bleed through large period pads and

Post miscarriage periods
Hello all, On the 14th June I sadly miscarried my pregnancy at 7 weeks. Exactly one month later my period arrived on the 13th July (28days later, lasting 4 days) It’s been 32 days now and still no sign of a period, my usual cycle was in around 28 days. Is it normal to have irregular periods after
