Endometriosis, upset stomach and period
Hi I'm new to the forum. I was informed I had endometriosis during my c-section with my little girl back in February. I had always had fairly painful periods but i just thought it was normal. At the time the surgeon said he would come and talk to me about it in recovery but he didn't so I'm not sure

Provera & still no period. Is this normal?
Hi there, this is my first post on this network (I am also on the endometriosis UK network). I was wondering if anybody has been given provera to bring on a period and how long it took to start bleeding? Long story short, my husband and I have been ttc for about a year and as a result of my endometriosis

Endo and light period...does anyone know why that is? or have the same experience?
Hello, after my 2 laps my periods have been very light, I've had periods that only last two days with a heavy flow and massive pain for around the first five hours and then extremely light with tad less period pain (the back pain is constant irrespective of mestrual flow) for the rest of that day

Anyone else on Femulen? I am not a happy bunny...
Hi all, I got a real period 7 weeks after having baby (hadn't started using any contraception at this point), a week later I had my 8-week check up with the GP and she prescribed the progesterone-only mini pill as I am partly breastfeeding and said I could start it any day of my cycle... So I started

How best to explain my problem to my doctor?
Hi, I have a doctor's appointment later. I don't know if I have endo but I suspect I do, and I want my doctor to take my concerns seriously, but I've read that it's common for sufferers to be dismissed as whingers and given pain relief. I am trying to conceive, and do not want to be taking strong painkillers

Adenomyosis ? Awaiting 4th Decapeptyl injection and hopefully an hysterectomy.
i am 41 and am lucky enough to have 2 children aged 5 to 8. I have always suffered with mood swings and have been in and out of therapy and on and off depressants since puberty. Periods up until pregnancy were heavy but not painful and i managed good work record. Problems really started with pregnancy

Does anyone else suffer with lower back period pain, without the period.
Every day now for the last 12 weeks I have had either mild, strong or very strong lower back period pain. You know, that dull, dragging, ache in the lower back ? I have always had this with my period but this time it didn't go away. I had my first Gynae appointment today and the Consultant (a lady
