booked in for full hysterectomy
hey I had a lap back in October and it looks like the endo has returned so I’m booked in for a total hysterectomy! I’m really scared about it all. How are you after yours? Has it changed you at all? I’ve already started hrt and get on really well with the oestrogel especially with less adhd symptoms

zoladex/HRT pending hysterectomy
I started on Zoladex a week ago, alongside HRT. I am on the surgical waiting list for a hysterectomy with a view to keeping my ovaries as I am 34. Since the injection I have had a horrible stomach ache (alongside the usual crippling pain) but I can’t eat, I feel nauseous and I can’t open my bowels

Carnivore….. massive success…feeling 20 years younger and less need to SI.
Good evening every one. Felt the need to share my successes, I was so desperate as you know. Having extreme bloating pain in ileo- cecal area, doctor sent me for a number of tests including virtual colonoscopy😬, coeliac screening, etc etc. I knew that they wouldn’t anything thankfully. Doc was half

Internal Burning
Hi,I am new here. I am desperate for answers. I had a hysterectomy 21 years ago and it was only through recurrent UTI’s that I was eventually diagnosed with vaginal atrophy. I was put on Vagifem and a vaginal moisturiser but whereas my UTI’s stopped the intense burning ( as if someone had put a tube

post-op bloating
hi, I have endometriosis and Adenomyosis and had a total hysterectomy about 8 weeks ago. The surgery was quite complicated and took a long time due to the amount of scar tissue that had to be removed. As they didn’t remove my ovaries I’m now taking dienogest to help prevent the Endo from coming back

Seromucinous borderline ovarian tumour

low grade serous ovarian cancer
hello I’m new to the group but I was diagnosed with low grade ovarian cancer in October 2020 and have since had a radical hysterectomy in December 2020 followed by 6 rounds of chemo starting in June 2021 which didn’t remove all the cancer I was given a course of letrozole but this didn’t work for me.

LGSOC located in pleura
HiIs there anyone whose lgsoc is located in the pleura? I was diagnosed in June 2020. My ovaries were removed as part of a hysterectomy in 2008 hence the migration to the pleura. Debulking was to take place but surgeon said there was too much cancer. I have had chemo for secondaries. So it's incurable

Chances of getting a hysterectomy on the nhs aged 30?
Anyone had any success getting a hysterectomy at aged 30 ? If so what did you have to do to persuade your gp it was right for you ? After 12 yrs of back and forth with no progress, I want to be able to make a choice myself. Finally a gp suggested endo in 2021 but nothing is confirmed. My ovaries

Hysterectomy at 40 no endometriosis
I had my hysterectomy 2 days ago and although I am in pain I'm feeling relieved 😌. My consultant has told me he has found no signs of endometriosis and that my uterus was severely scarred from my 3 c-sections and my coil that had been embedded in my uterus. My bladder was stuck to my uterus and that

Left Side Stitch
Hi Everyone! I'm a 48 year old female that had a partial hysterectomy 5 years ago. Recently back in 12/22 I started having a dull pain almost like a side stitch without exercise on my left side. It seems to come on around BMs but on occasion it can come on at different times as well. It can radiate from

Hi everyone - meeting my oncologist today
I had an
abdominal
hysterectomy
in July and it went well, the surgeon seemed pretty confident it wasn’t cancer at the time and then it hit me pretty hard when he told me 3 weeks later that the results showed cancer had started in my womb and moved to my ovary.
