Vagifem causing flare ups?

I've had a hysterectomy and excision and am currently in surgical menopause, about a year ago started with a return of pain/symptoms. MRI earlier this year showed what seems to be the remains of my RV nodule growing about a cm deep into the rectal wall, plus another nodule elsewhere on the bowel. I've been on HRT for several years to manage the surgical meno.

I am trying various things to manage the symptoms/pain at the moment (with medical support) but I am beginning to wonder if vagifem is triggering the flare ups - I used it on Tues, had endo type pain overnight on tues and then on wed, and then this morning had another bout of really painful diarrhoea. I know vagifem isn't supposed to have systemic effects but as the RV endo is basically at the back of my vagina I can't help but wonder if the vagifem is setting it off.

Has anyone else who has been on it had similar problems (I am using it because I've got issues with atrophy/bladder infections now due to surgical meno).

I did feel that it caused a slight flare up of endo type pain ( am post-menopausal ) although Gynae had advised my GP that it shouldn’t do. I stopped using it, shame as it was more effective than anything else I’ve tried for the bladder issues.
