a bit of back story, in 2018 I was diagnosed with fibroids. I had excessive amounts of free fluid in my pelvic area.
I had this removed along with some endo and it’s returned. I don’t know what to do. Would a hysterectomy solve it?

endometriosis is not curable unfortunately, I had my tubes , ovaries and a hysterectomy 16 years ago, and only just got told I now have endometriosis in pelvis , probably bowels, bladder and have symptoms of thoracic endometriosis. I’m 58.
Hey,
Unfortunately l, endometriosis is not a curable condition and is likely to re occur multiple times within your life and require surgery.
A hysterectomy may improve things for a time, but is unlikely to be a long term solve.
It may be best to have surgery to remove the endo again and then go onto either contraception/hormone therapy to try a slow the spread of the disease as much as possible.
The only things otherwise that will improve is ensuring your body has all the vitamins and minerals it needs and eating an anti inflammatory diet. Stay fit ie yoga/pilates.
Hope this helps! X
