Good afternoon,
A little bit about me, I had endo symptoms since I was 17, after many years and 7 consultants I finally got diagnosed at 29. I had a hysterectomy at 30, my ovaries were left. For 5 years I seemed fine but I slowly started to get a pressure every month. It was not painful but I knew it was my cycle. Told GP told me it was fine. Slowly the pressure has changed into discomfort and now pain. I am now 42 and the last 3 cycles have been bad. I have increased pressure on my bladder, severe period type cramps and severe backache.
Today I ended up in A&E and like 12 years ago I was just given loads of pain relief and sent home. I have had codine, muscle relaxant, strong anti inflammatory and morphine and I am still in pain.
I explained to both Dr's my history and neither took me seriously. The GP has ordered an ultrasound scan which is next week but I know endo doesn't show up on scans.
I really don't know where to go or what to do. I can not go back to what I had before my hysterectomy.
Any advice would be gratefully recieved.
Many thanks
Jen
