lithium and bipolar 2
I have had psychiatric treatment with medication and
psychotherapy
that has kept me well enough. During my treatment about 7 years ago I was put on Lithium, a powerful mood stabiliser and antipsychotic.

I prefer to find a psychiatrist who does in person
psychotherapy
. I did see a psychiatrist, but they just wanted to prescribe meds. Has anyone else had a bad reaction to methylprednisolone?

Has anyone here gotten weight restored on their own without going to a nutritionist or eating disorder center?
They have never helped me as far as yes they help me gain the weight but then I don't end up getting my mind changed any even with all the
psychotherapy
so it ends up doing me no good.

New to forum - my story
Started
psychotherapy
proper today (I was with a counsellor before - nice guy but not really able to provide what I needed in terms of tools) and that was good - but scary.

Need online partner(s) who is trying to develop habits for limiting the negative effects of ADHD
Due to several reasons, it is very hard for me to go to a psychologist and get medical treatment or even
psychotherapy
sessions. I made a list of habits that can help me to control the negative effects of ADHD.

Touchpoint Solutions for ADHD/Focus
My 8 yo daughter was diagnosed with ADHD last year. After a several month wait due to insurance and availability limitations, she is now in therapy and I think it will be very helpful for her. She continues to struggle in school. I hoping to avoid medication if I can, but I also know it will be some

I’m finally going to see a therapist next week
it’s been a long time coming, but it’ll only be one session for now since I’m currently abroad and will be going back to my home country that same week. I was gonna wait till I get home to go to therapy, but I can’t ya’ll. I feel like my brain is being squeezed every day.

worn out
I am just worn out. I have battled anxiety my whole life. I’ve been to several different therapists, psychiatrists, and primary care. They all seem to help at first, but then give up on me. The last med is zoloft and Abilify. I quit the Abilify cause it kept me awake all night. They won’t change me from

frustrated
Hi I’m 24 years old, I live in the USA. I was recently diagnosed with PNES and I’m having symptoms of FND. I remember having my first seizure at 17 years old and it was brushed off because I have an anxiety disorder and treatment resistant depression. Recently I was intubated and sent to an out of state
