Hello, I have ADHD and I have read a lot about this disorder over the previous years.
Due to several reasons, it is very hard for me to go to a psychologist and get medical treatment or even psychotherapy sessions.
I made a list of habits that can help me to control the negative effects of ADHD. These habits include meditation, keeping hydrated, taking Omega 3 supplements, doing balance exercises, .... etc.
Unfortunately, I have been trying to develop these habits for myself for several years and all my previous trials have failed.
I am now searching for people who are interested in developing the same habits and I hope if we will be a group of 2 or more people we will be able to develop these habits together.

Sounds like a great idea. How do you want to go about doing check-ins?
I know that I could benefit from the type of support that you're suggesting, but I am not sure if I could commit to anything right now. (I just know that I'm struggling to make changes in my own routines.)
hey potatosLover. I am a health and life coach from Idaho (potato nation!) message me and I would love to talk to you about your amazing goals and see if I could help you achieve those goals.
A worthy goal, and yes, a constant struggle. I am about to turn 51 and I was diagnosed just over a year ago and it's taken me this whole year to start figuring some of these things out. Long story very short, I had two severely negative reactions to different types of ADHD medication (it destroyed my sleep among other things - Big, Fat, Hard NO), so I cannot take any medication. I'm white-knuckling it and figuring out ways to improve every day while 'unclenching my fists' a little bit more every day. It is a daunting challenge, but I'm hanging in there.
Anyway, I agree, a group chat, check-ins, anything that helps you (and therefore us, frankly) is a great way to bolster our efforts. Accountability without guilt nor negativity is exactly what we need. I myself have anchored everything around my sleep routine first, and then everything else emanates from that hub as different spokes.
Better nutritional biochemistry choices, made up for both diet and supplementation is HUGE right after sleep, and recognizing that we have this full menu of behavioral tools and exercises to draw upon is I'd say third, but not by much.
I hear you loud and clear and I applaud you for seeking out group support. If nothing else, we can keep the conversation going here and share encouragement, wins, and good habit-forming routines, etc.
Sorry, man. I keep it all on the thread here. I have email for work, and I don't do social media, for obvious reasons. I appreciate setting up the Discord, but I really need to cut down on apps and comms channels. I hope this works for you.
