Counselling
I got to the stage where I’ve reached out and started some
counselling
which I’ll hopefully really benefit from. The reason for this post is to highlight that if anyone is struggling then please reach out and speak to someone, don’t suffer in silence.

I want to get some
counselling
help for my son . He has high anxiety and worry’s about his future and uncertainty . He is 25y now . He also has ADHD . It worries me too much as well . He needs to calm down and relax and not worry so much then he would do much better .

Do you get offered
counselling
? I’ve read that this is NHS advice but haven’t been as yet. Finding it all a bit lonely if I’m honest as everyone around me is pregnant at the moment (not an exaggeration!) so I don’t really have anyone to speak to about it.

Counselling
I have recently to be honest yesterday was offered
counselling
with the NHS. I may have to wait a long time and to get it and also will need to be assessed as needing it but I am really pleased. Obviously treatment for mental health is changing and what is being offered as well.

I started

in a pit I can’t get out of.
Medication doesn’t work, nor did
counselling
. I need practical help, but have no one I can turn to. What can I do?

A Touchy Subject
It is definitely one you wish every urologist who treats men with prostate cancer watches and keeps in mind when they are
counselling
men starting out on this roller coaster of a condition. https://youtu.be/NJ4Q6Y1T5s4

Never too late to seek help
My GP and I agreed to each refer me for
counselling
(talking therapies), just so happens, my self referral came up first and I was placed on a waiting list. Well I've just finished 9 x sessions for PTSD and related trauma.

Self Sabotage
So far my treatment has consisted of an increased dose of meds plus some
counselling
sessions. I am on a waiting list to be assessed by a CBT specialist too. This time around my OCD is attacking me by trying to convince me I am a danger to my wife and daughter.

Needing encouragement... and words of support to try again or stop....
I've had some
counselling
and to be honest it's been really helpful but I'm still feeling very stuck. I'm so sorry if I offend anyone by saying that I do already have 2 children. I often feel like a fraud for being on here, but as I say... I desperately want more. Anyone else in this situation?
