Sorry to be on here again…… can anyone help me work out if my Moderate Aortic Regurgitation should be making me so terrified.

I am being checked only annually.

Should I pay for more regular checks.

I am finding no pleasure in life because of this crippling fear.

I am having counselling. On anxiety meds.

If the health professional who is responsible for your care considers that an annual check up is sufficient there is little you can do about that. However if you believe paying for more frequent check ups is necessary and will be beneficial in monitoring your condition, and if you can afford it, go for it, especially since it should also have the significant outcome of a reduction in your anxiety levels, as you are taking more control over your situation.
