I am currently on 112.5mcg levothyroxine and i take B complex, evening primrose oil, Three arrows iron, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3+K2, Magnesium, Omega 3, B12 spray once a week when i remember!

My last bloodtest was in November and i should of had a re test in january but i had food poisoning so i cancelled it.

I had a bloodtest yesterday (followed the protocol) but i was physically sick last friday and i've been left with a wobbly head and i'm very off balance, so i'm guessing that the bloodtest was pointless?

These are the results anyway, I've already had a text from a dr to say i'm over medicated and to reduce my dose, but i'm more interested in what you guys think 😊

TSH 0.01 mU/L 0.30-4.20

FT4 22.1 pmol/L 9.0-19.0

FT3 6.2 pmol/L 3-5.4

B12 1388 ng/L 180-900

Vit D 189 nmol/L 50-250

Transferrin Sat Index 46% 16-50

Serrum Transferrin 2.24 g/L 1.8-3.6

Serum Iron 25.6 micromol/L 11-30

Folate 8.2 microg/L 3.0-20.0

Ferritin 165.0 microg/L 30-336

Folate on the low side and fT3&4 both quite a bit above range, I'm guessing the GP will get you to drop back to 100mcg or alternate 112.5 as your last result on this dose were mid range?... everything else looks pretty good πŸ€—

Just thinking... are you Hashi? Could this just be a flare?

I think the dr thinks i'm on 150mcg because the text said to reduce to 125mcg πŸ€” I'm prescribed 150mcg because the 25's are Teva and i don't tolerate Teva, i keep telling the surgery this πŸ™„ Should i just stay on 112.5mcg until my next retest in 3 months?

I believe i have been told on here that i'm Hashi, although i don't know what a flare is or feels like?

Ah, well that is quite handy as you can suit yourself πŸ˜…

A flare can cause a sudden rise in levels and make you feel hyper, hot, faster metabolism etc until it calms down

If you feel well on your current dose you could stick with it an hope things settle, there seem to be something going on as your results are quite different on the same dose aren't they πŸ˜•

I get hot quite alot but i thought that was the menopause πŸ€”

Would the results be different this time because i'm not well? 🀷

I'd be surprised if it made that much difference, though most people postpone testing πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ If it's a constant hot rather than a flush then I'd maybe think of dropping to 100/112.5 and see how you go πŸ€—
