TSH 0.01 0.27 - 4.20

Free T4 22.50 12 - 22

Total T4 108 59 - 154

Free T3 4. 94 3.10 - 6.8

Reverse T3 29 10 - 24

Reverse T3 ratio 11.09 15.01 - 75

Antibodies thyroG 10 0 - 115

thyroP 10. 2 0 - 34

B 12 512 140 - 724

Folate 19.98 2.91 - 50

Vitamin D 119 50 - 200

Ferritin 83.4 13 - 150

Am currently taking :- Daily 125 levothyroxine -

Vitamin D3 5000 x 2 plus 1 x K2 softgell

B complex with Vitamin C x 2 plus 1 x B12 nugget

Ferrous Fumarate x 1 plus 2 Gentle Iron plus 2 buffered Vitamin C x 1000 mg

Am also supplementing Adrenal gland x 4 = 680 mg plus Adrenalmax x 2 tablets -

This result has been almost 6 months in the making - am very sun sensitive, and have only recently been with new front bottom teeth, owing to very dry and burning mouth for the past two years and low ferritin - am feeling a lot better than 6 months ago and just now need reassurance as to my next move when I see endo next week - am waiting on some T3 from abroad to arrive - as plan B - ?

Thinking I need to drop T4 to bring into range and take a smidgeon of T3 to balance me on this seesaw ?

Very many thanks in advance - what would we all do without you guys ?

Pennyannie,

TSH is suppressed, FT4 is mildly over range and FT3 is half way through range. There's no need to reduce Levothyroxine dose unless you feel over medicated. FT3 half way through range is typical when taking Levothyroxine only. Why do you think you need T3?

Thyroid antibodies are negative for autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's).

B12 >500 is unlikely to be deficient and folate 19.98 is good.

Vitamin D and ferritin are optimal.

In May my T3 was 4 with a T4 of 20.5 - that was on 100 levothyroxine per day - my doctor thought this was ok, it was in range, and I had to fight for an increase back up to where I was some 4 years earlier- she upped me back to 125 and agreed to a referral to an endo - as per my post on here previously -

reading other peoples plights on here, and the NHS not doing reverse T3 I decided to get my own blood tests done hence the results as detailed and also order some T3 from abroad as my plan B -

Prior to endo appointment my doctor ran tests and I was telephoned with the results - T 3 of 5.5 and a T 4 of 22.0 - within 4 days of this blood test I had my medicheck appointment and the result is detailed above - my T3 now being 4.94 -

I just thought it strange that my T3 is not constant - and has jumped within four days from 66% through the range now down to 50% -

I am not well, my brain is not so foggy but am with flu like aches and pains throughout my whole body, breathless, sun sensitive with very little energy or stamina, I could go on but am sure you can finish this sentence for me -

Having had my thyroid ablated some 14 years ago, the general opinion seems to be a combo of T3/T4 so this what I am now attempting to achieve -

Many thanks for your time

Pennyannie,

Thyroid levels aren't constant, they fluctuate throughout the day. They aren't big fluctuations.

Have a look at the hour by hour fluctuations in this link healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
