I have just had a blood test. I would be grateful if anyone had any comments on the results, because I am not fully sure of their significance, if any. Thank you.

The T4 you have is not turning into the active t3 to give you energy, but instead being broken down into the inactive reverse t3, so it can be disposed of. So, i'm guessing you feel pretty hypothyroid?

Are you taking t4. ( levothyroxine?). If so you need to stop taking it so it cant be turned into rt3. You probably need to replace it with t3.

Here is a link to the rt3 website, which might explain it better.....
