Feeling lost and confused
I'm not sure what I'm hoping to gain from this post other than to maybe speak to people who understand what this is like. So far I manage pain with a tens machine and painkillers but things are getting worse. I have pain most days, it's worse after sex and I'm now spotting after sex. A few months

TENS therapy
Hello all I've been seeing convincing ads about TENS pens for pain relief, along with a comment that it's not recommended if you've Afib. I can't take ibuprofen (trigger) and struggle to find pain relief (at the moment for shoulders). Has anyone tried TENS and found it caused no problems? Thanks Gary

Bests TENS machine?
Currently suffering with a severe flare up, and dosed up on strong painkillers. I have been looking into getting a tens machine and one that is portable that I can wear to work (carrying a hot water bottle makes me look crazy). Obviously I was looking at myoovi but it is pricey and worried if it doesn't

TENS machine, AFl / Afib and aches and pains.
Hi, I wonder if anyone uses a TENS machine for hip and let muscle pain if you also have AFl or AFib? Because of taking blood thinners, most 'normal' painkillers are ruled out because they contain NSAIDs, leaving only really paracetamol for general pain. Or, if not, what do you use to help moderate

Great letter sums it up! Hi. My name is Hashimoto's. I'm an invisible autoimmune disease that attacks your thyroid gland causing you to become hypothyroid. I am now velcroed to you for life. If you have hypothyroidism, you probably have me. I am the number one cause of it in the U.S. and many

BJM Investigation - Galleri promises to detect multiple cancersābut new evidence casts doubt on this much hyped blood test, 08/07/2024
Seems the potential conflicts-of-interests between private healthcare companies and government regulators are not limited to the US. The near-universal policy to follow-the-money seems to also hold true in the UK as well. From the BJM Report: * * * [i]Big promises have been made for the Galleri blood

My TENS unit experience
I purchased a TENS machine recently having read on various forums of others' success with it for RLS. The first night i went very gently, using it at 1/5th of the recommended intensity for approximately 10 minutes. The second night, i upped the intensity to 1/3 of the recommended amount. I also used

Advice needed
Hi, my wife has endometriosis and I am wondering just how exactly I can convince a Dr about the level of pain she is in? Her journey started with very heavy and long periods on average between 10-20 days of very heavy bleeding, then she would have 3-5 days without and then again 10-20 days bleeding
