just need some advise is it worth going into a&e when your in excruciating pain. And what helps with a flare. I have tried heat pad, tens machine and gaberpentin meds but nothing seems to be working at the moment.

Hallo, I would suggest phoning 111 (NHS help). It might take a while for someone to ring back but at least you’re waiting in the comfort of your home instead of in A&E.

They might advise you go in (there might also be an Urgent Treatment Centre) but at that point they should give you an appointment. In my case, they ended up ringing an ambulance for me.

Thank you so much for commenting. I called 111 and they called an ambulance for me too. I had a scan apparently my insides are like super clue everything is stuck together so I have to have emergency surgery.

Wow, I’m amazed you’re able to type a response! I hope your surgery goes well and make sure they give you notes on exactly what they did.
