Autoimmune atrophic gastritis vitamin deficiencies
Is it common to have multiple vitamin deficiencies with atrophic gastritis? I have struggled with my stomach since I was a child. If I wait too long before meals my stomach burns and I end up vomiting. I can’t take any kind of NSAID or my stomach burns and I vomit. I have been hospitalized with severe

Confused by blood test results
Hi there, new to this forum! Had Hashimotos for about 15 years, bloods up and down, now fully gluten free. At last GP blood test was told to reduce Levothyroxine dose as GP believed I was over-medicated. I feel that the GP is focused entirely on the numbers and not on how I might be feeling. So, I had

Do we need to stop all supplements before a blood test?
Hi everyone, I know that we should stop taking biotin-containing supplements for a week before a blood test, but what about other supplements? Apart from B complex and a multivitamin containing biotin, I take the following: Turmeric Selenium Zinc Vitamin C Ferrous fumarate (210 mg twice a week) The tests

New here with new tip that works for me
My partner is a medical bio-chemical scientist. For me, he makes a liquid form of magnesium and a spray that has something called DMSO in it - it takes the magnesium through my skin. I see that people here talk about taking magnesium by mouth but I've found this works better for me. I rub them on my

Success Thyroid Story
Hi! I promised myself that I would come back and write here if I managed to "naturally" put my thyroid levels and my Hashimoto’s back in their place, in case it could help someone else fix theirs. My TSH levels are now perfect and my Hashimoto's is pretty much in remission as my antibodies are pretty

TBG, Reverse T3 & SHBG Issues - What Does This Mean?
Greetings and happy July all. I have Hashi's confirmed by ultrasound and blood antibodies. I am not being treated as my family doctor and encrinologist say my blood work does not justify it. I have every symptom of hypo, I mean every symptom, and I also believe I have fatigued adrenals big time. But,

Latest labs look good?
Here's the deal. I've felt terrible since June 2017 when I was diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis. I likely had Hashimotos for many years prior but wasn't ever diagnosed. At the time of dx, my TSH was over 100 and free levels were tanked. Symptoms flooded in over the following months including crushing

A useful video on protein, detoxing, MTHFR, fatty liver, neurotransmitters by Ari Whitten and Chris Masterjohn.
https://www.theenergyblueprint.com/protein-detox-fatty-liver-and-more/ This is worth a listen if you have time. It covers a range of topics. Interesting points on needing choline to detox, adding b2 might be enough for people with mthfr mutations to return to normal methylation levels, are you eating

Anyone else experiencing issues with taking zinc?
I have recently added Zinc picolinate to my arsenal of supplements, but have found that after 6 days it has upset my bowels and caused diarrhoea. I'm only taking one capsule containing 15mg zinc picolinate; natural beta carotene/carotenod mix 900ug and copper citrate 1mg. Anyone else supplementing

Hi all, I have to admit that once diagnosed with asthma and bronchiectasis there was only so much that I could take in before wanting to bury my head in the sand. Both conditions are life-changing and threatening and guaranteed to ruin my day if I encounter someone smoking, wearing anything scented
