Leaky gut, candida, and PA
So I was diagnosed with leaky gut and moderate yeast overgrowth after months of dealing with symptoms and having researched a lot on this site. I went on a strict diet for candida and leaky gut and managed quite well for a couple of months and began to feel better. The symptoms between the two and PA

Skin imprints - is it from water retention? - anyone else has this problem?
Hi everyone! I’m wondering if anyone else has/had issues with skin imprints? Is it due to water retention? Is it a usual hypo symptom that could go away when optimal? Turned out I have been undermedicated for years as took my meds before each blood test so not on optimal dose yet. Attached is the

Advice Please
Hi I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency and Vit D deficiency in 2013. Once on 8 weekly injections and 2500 is of vitD3 I felt so much better. However, in 2016 I felt myself going down hill rapidly. My doctor feels it’s not the B12 deficiency causing my symptoms...I.e fatigue, tinnitus, pins and needles

Any success with the Keto Diet for IBS?
In a bid to lose some weight and battle the bloating feeling I've been getting on a daily basis, I thought I'd give the Keto Diet a go. I have previously completed the FODMAP elimination and reintroduction diet under the direction of a clinical dietician, so have identified my main trigger foods as being

Hi. I have accidentally lost 2 posts. I tried thrioyd meds but unfortunately after 2.5.months, my muscles felt taut /tight in my back & my legs walking was getting quite painful, so stopped meds. Having not been to Dr's since feb 2017, March this year I phoned the dr's & requested having some blood

Damaged and painful penis skin caused by harsh chemicals in cleanser. What remedies or products could help?
Hi. So a few months ago, I used some bathroom products as lubricant while masturbating that definitely were not meant to be put on a penis. I think what damaged my skin was a facial cleanser. It started to burn while I was masturbating, and stupidly I didn't really give it time to heal. I continued to

10 + 10 + 10 = 30
Thirty. Good number, right? ...damn, I remember "being" 30! How can that be more than 30 years ago? Great age though. We were, "Old enough to know better; young enough to learn." Now... numbers (and age) take on a whole different significance... but it's all good. We cool. It has taken me 226

Abnormal liver function+
Hi all, I’ve just had a call from my surgery to say I’ve had an abnormal liver test result. The receptionist said I need to repeat the test and asked which vitamins I was taking. She then said I can’t have an appointment to see the doctor for two weeks and she can’t fit me in for a blood test yet but

Science or Snake Oil: does EASEaCOLD really help to shorten your cold?
[i]"There is very little evidence the herbal and vitamin supplements in EASEaCOLD Cold and Flu, Day and Night help to treat the common cold, or the symptoms associated with a cold. Some, such as echinacea and garlic, may help to prevent a cold, or reduce its length or severity if taken prior to the cold

B12 injections discontinued
Hi there I had B12 deficiency diagnosed a couple of years ago, and as it wasn’t diet related, my GP put me on lifelong B12 injections even though he didn’t feel I really needed them as IFA was negative (this was in Hull following HEY guidelines I suppose). He was very dismissive of my neurological symptoms

Exercise with Hypothyroidism
A month ago I had the right side of my thyroid removed because of enlarged nodules. It started with a lump by my Adam's apple a year and half ago, which lead to an ultrasound that found the nodules. The surgeon said to wait and watch it for a year. During that year I continuously gained weight regardless

Vitamin B12 Patches
It seems that people on this site have not yet discovered vitamin B12 patches (they are like plasters). They are much better than supplements, because supplements have to be digested by the stomach and the liver has to work hard with them. Vitamin patches go STRAIGHT INTO THE BLOOD STREAM. No digestion

Are Topical Zinc ointments bad for Parkinson's?
Sorry, the question is probably addressed somewhere in here but for the life of me I cannot find it. I use topical Zinc foot medicines daily and something I read keeps rattling around my memory saying that it might be bad for parkinson's if absorbed into the brain. Anyone have info on that specific

Should I push for a dose increase?
Hello lovely, helpful people on here. I haven’t posted for quite a while, as I have thought that I feel sort-of ok, but I’m wondering if I should settle for that? I still struggle with brain fog (but nothing like as bad as it was), anxiety attacks and depression, although I seem to cope with them better

Any experience with doxycycline, proton pump inhibitors and or zinc strategies
OK, so wondering about off shelf treatments and reports of results in the anecdotal real world of patients. Came across some citations about Proton Pump inhibitors as a way to change prostate cancer cell pH environment, softening up the cells so to speak. Also wondering about Doxycline and whether anyone
