Hi my fibromyalgia friends i have been doing a bit of research about some diets
The ones I have research about r the vegan hallelujah diet vs fibromyalgia and the fibromyalgia vs mostly raw and mostly vegetarian diets well what I found out was shocking the hallelujah diet vs fibromyalgia is unbalanced and can be very harmful as u r consuming far too little protein low in calories low in vitamin B12 & vitamin d & zinc and iron it also makes it harder to fight infection and could become dangerous the other one lacks in healthy nutrients also both diets in women it ends up u lacking of energy loss of menses
I hope that this is helphelpful to u all pain free days to all

Hi Sweetie70 , I am all for researching ways to help improve our health including the food we eat but I think we have to ensure we gather sufficient information in order to form a balanced opinion. I agree there are some faddy diets out there that claim to have amazing health benefits and they can be convincing but there is also a lot of scare-mongering too. As a vegetarian, I am aware that there are certain nutrients provided by meat/fish that I could miss out on so I have to make sure I get these from other food sources and I have friends/family who are vegans who do the same. These days, there is so much more food that has been fortified with vitamins, iron and protein and of course there are always supplements available. However with good planning and an understanding of what makes up a healthy, balanced vegetarian and vegan diet, it is possible to get all the nutrients your body needs to be healthy without the need for supplements. However in the end it is down to personal choice and what works best for you, but it definitely helps to be informed. Take care and hope you have a pain free day. x
