T3 Dosage
My friend had a complete thyroidectomy 10 years ago. Since that time she has been on 200 mg of Levothyroxine. She continued to have debilitating symptoms such as weight gain and low energy levels so she researched the T3 route and decided that she wanted to try it. When I asked her about her dosage

Supplement timing
I currently take all sorts of supplements, but reading up on some I’m not sure if I’m taking them correctly. There’s loads of posts about what to take and differing views on how and when. Sorry but I’m really confused and want to know I’m doing the right thing otherwise it’s a waste of time and money

Interleukin-6 and PMR/GCA
A few days ago I responded to a post in which members were questioning if statins had caused PMR. I have received messages asking for more information about my comments. In response to these questions I have written the following which I hope will be of interest and help. I am a retired clinical Pharmacist

How Long before you noticed improvements on new dose?
Hey guys just curious to know typically how long before people who have had their doses increased or reduced noticed a change in their well being. It's been just over 2 weeks since my Levo was increased and I have to say I feel so much better already. My hair loss is slowing down and my weight has stablised

At my wits end! Months of ill health and multiple and conflicting endo opinions.
I am writing to this amazing community for further guidance and help- it has been my saviour on several occasions before. Thank you again! My story is very long so apologies in advance, but suffice to say the biggest problems emerged 3.5 years ago when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidosm at 7 weeks

Advice on selenium and zinc and endocrinologist
Hello everyone Do any of you take selenium and zinc ? If so zinc with copper? I don’t want to mess with my system but I just got my bloods and TSH 0.5 (0.27-4.2 mU/L) and T4 22.1 (12-22 pmol/L). I was quite upset that they didn’t do T3 like I asked. GP said Lab decide if normal no need to do. These

Low zinc, still falling despite supplementing.
Hi, Just a bit of background - I have hashimotos which for the past year has been a bit all over the place level wise. It seems to have stabilised and my past 2 tests have been in range. This week TSH 2.6, T4 19.8. Haven't got T3 this time but previous was top end of the range. Despite this, I've still
