Home with new hip!
Hello everyone- wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Bonne Année. I am back from the clinic with my new hip. I had my op last Wednesday and came home Monday. The surgeon told me he had had a hard time getting even the smallest prothesis in as I have such little bones and now my right leg is slightly

To inject or not to inject, that is my question
I got on great with MTX at first, after diagnosis in June 2019, but my bloods weren’t good after six months. Since then, very up and down, gaps with no meds and a two months flare which saw me hobbling about with a stick and shovelling Tramadol in like there was no tomorrow. Luflunomide has helped but

I wrote here some time ago when my Tramadol and other interventions were failing me or my RLS was getting worse. My doctor had put me on Gabapentin 300 mg at night and I was very reluctant to take it due to the possible side effects . After reading all the responses from this wonderful group which I

Tramadol and skin problems
I am taking Tramadol for fibromyalgia pains, and supported it well. But now I have suddenly very soar skin eruptions. They are mainly on the rump and the back. The skin breaks open in stripes, are red or also a bit blue where blood vessels start to be affected. I used to suffer from idiopathic Urticaria

Need help!
I have been on and off Tramadol since early last year when I had a few back operations done. This is when I was first introduced to the drug. Fast forward nearly 2 years later i am what can be called a functioning drug addict. I take nearly 200mg on a daily basis and can't stop. I don't want to stop.

Methadone. For anyone taking it I’d like to know your thoughts good or bad
My neurologist is starting me on 2.5 mg methadone. The Tramadol wasn’t working well anymore. Has anyone been on methadone long term. I would love to hear anyone’s experience with this med.

Update on Sexy Stockings
Well since my last post things have not improved, they have continued to get worse to the point that the GP under the advice of the Rheumy nurse that I spoke to have changed my pain meds three different times, now I am on Tramadol and Paracetamol so I spend quite a lot of my time asleep as I feel so

Help needed
I’m going thru a really bad rough spot right now . I’ve been on opiods Codeine and Tramadol for about a year with mediocre success. I’ve been thru the augmentation with Ropinarole, don’t want to go back there. It seems that things have been gradually going downhill for me and on a friends advice I added

I hate my GP - making me feel like a drug addict
Just came off the telephone with the third GP I have spoken to in the last few months. I asked her to prescribe me either Tramadol or Codeine as the only thing helping me at the minute is taking shop bought Co-codamol and Nurofen Plus. I have tried Pramipexole and also now on Gabapentin 900mg. She said
