Some good news.
I have not posted about my progression for some time but wanted to share some good news. I had CyberKnife (basically SBRT) to remove a 2.2 cm adenocarcinoma from the right lung in Nov/Dec of 2020. It was found coincidentally when I had a PET for a spinal meningioma which was removed surgically in July

Ovary discomfort a month after failed ET.
I’ve been experiencing some dull aches in my ovary over the last few days. Occasionally I get sharp pains in my ovary, although I have always had this now and again. It has been about a month since my ET which failed and I have had a bleed since. And I have already ovulated. I spoke to my clinic and

I don’t have fibromyalgia ( I am so sorry you do) but yes my blood pressure medicine Clonidine makes me shake (my insides shake) .it’s awful
check the side effects of your medicine ( all of them) perhaps your doctor can switch you to something else with less side effects 🙏I’ll pray for you. I can relate

Phosphatidylserine
I thought I posted here about phosphatidylserine but can't find it now.... Does anyone know anything about taking this with APS? It is a phospholipid so as I have antibodies to phospholipids, shouldn't this mean that supplementing with phospholipids could help? Or would it hinder? The product helps

wow!! That wind!! I lay awake last night listening to it blow people’s recycling up and down the street and thought to myself “ I probably won’t run”. Then this morning the forecast said it was gonna die down so I ate breakfast and let that go down and then ran. I would have run yesterday but I do

Advice re. Churchill hospital
Can anyone who attends the Churchill hospital in Oxford give me a little guidance please. I have been referred to haematology there and have an appointment in late May. I will have to drive to get there (a round trip of about 70 miles) and I understand that parking there is pretty hellish. So if anyone

post right hemicolectomy functional bowel disorder
my son age 7 during storm Emma passed out and vomited continuously, we had to take him to the nearest accessible hospital with ice chains on the car , they just said it was viral. A scan the next day revealed intersusception so his bowel was blocked , he developed sepsis. He had a right hemicolectomy

Colonoscopy v Colonography
Has anyone else been told they have a loopy bowel and it is not advisable to have a colonoscopy anymore. They recommended ct colonography, but i am worried about the amount of radiation this needs. Apparently 2yrs normal exposure in one go. Anyone else had this predicament?

I was trying to talk myself out of running yesterday, especially after losing an hour, then I figured if I was going to have Roast turkey and possibly Easter Egg then it made sense to burn some calories 😂. Both myself and my son had managed to sleep in till nearly 10 ( nearly 9 in old money) which

Should I be worried?..
Hi guys, I seen my gynae consultant on Friday 22nd March, it was agreed then I’d get a pelvic MRI die to worsening bowel symptoms. The thing is I got an appointment through to go for scan on Monday 1st April in the evening. It seems so quick for the NHS especially Monday being a bank holiday? She didn

How to Know When Disimpaction is Complete
I'm doing disimpaction for my 7 year old. She's been constipated and on laxatives for years. I did 2 weeks of the sachet schedule and then 6 days adding bisacodyl tablet at night & suppository morning. She's had very watery stool (sometimes clear or light brown with just tiny bits spraying out, sometimes

Suspected endometriosis and the workplace
Hi all - looking for some tips/help in a difficult situation involving work. (UK) - Started a job and was told remote working was fine (great for me because I have been on an endo/PCOS diagnosis journey for a decade). Employer did a 'u-turn' on remote working and insisted it was based on abuse by one

Is this a flare?
Good morning, I’m 68 and diagnosed with PMR last October, 2023. I started at 20mg. No problem with tapering until February 29, 2 weeks after I started 7.5 mg. My neck (turning both ways and especially looking down) started getting sore and stiff on both sides. Tried acetaminophen and physical therapy
