Worried about my brother
My brother is recovering at home after 18 months in hospital from a brain injury . He’s had a catheter in all this time but 2 weeks ago this came out. He’s having to retrain his bladder. Since this came out he’s been increasingly exhausted. He’s getting up in the night a lot to pee. He suffers with fatigue

TTDF as FURSULTIAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE (B1)
*** I ended up with High Blood Pressure taking TTFD. I no longer take TTFD. Based on my experience, I would not recommend TTFD. *** looks like FURSULTIAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE has attached a hcl and is FDA approved. https://drugs.ncats.io/drug/T3557LWB27 for treatment of Alzheimer's .

Fell today as I didn't see the edge of a path.
Another fall curtisey of no peripheral vision so sporting a few cuts, bumps, bruises onto of the usual. Hit my chin, broke my nose, fractured hand, whiplash but great news though... I didn't fall off my push bike... 😉🙂 the above happened as I 'walked' within my crutch support. At least it was a beautiful

Biliary Atresia
My daughter had a Kasai procedure a little over a month ago. We noticed today her stool went from bright yellow to pale cream. No temperature, normal appetite and very active. GGT levels fluctuate from 252 to 180 to 352. Could GGT be a factor? Anybody else have experienced a similar case? Did you require

EXPERIENCES WITH DESOGESTREL????
Hello, I’ve just been put on desogestrel after having endo removed laparoscopically with the doctor hoping that it will completely stop my bleeding due to excessively heavy bleeding which we haven’t yet manage to control successfully. I’m 18 so things like ablation/hysterectomy isn’t really appropriate

My Pet Rat, Ralph

Experience with giving oneself a shot? Exenatide shot leaking - medicine being lost - please help
I take 2 mg of Exenatide a week for my PD. (There are many other threads explaining why) About 1/2 the time the shot leaks some liquid on to my skin surrounding the shot site. I’m concerned that I’m therefore not getting a complete dose. Please, if you have experience with this, help me. My husband

Seretonin syndrome.?
My doctor wants me to come off my chlomipramine antidepressant because it’s old and because I’ve been on it 23 years he thinks it’s stopped working for me as I feel so anxious, and to take Duloxetiene aswell. I read where you shouldn’t take both as it can lead to seretonin syndrome. I have been taking

Weird question about clinic and egg collection
Hi all, This is a bit of a niche question, for which I apologise. I had a tracking scan yesterday and was told that my left ovary had quite a few follicles but most weren't at the size we wanted but that my right ovary had a good number of good sized follicles, but was in an awkward position behind

New research suggests cancer patients with non-O blood types face an increased blood clot risk
« A new Blood Advances study suggests that people with cancer and non-O blood types, such as types A, B, and AB, face an increased risk of developing venous thromboembolism (VTE), or blood clots in the veins, three months after their initial diagnosis. Scientists have long strived to understand the risk

What’s your experience with Amitiza? Does it cause anxiety?
I have Amitiza 24mcg. I already have anxiety. At first I got diarrhea. I’m just not sure if it makes IBS-C worse. I’d like to hear about what people experience. Do you find it makes you bloat more and makes constipation worse?

Child wetting his pants in class
First time posting on here. As you will be able to tell from the title I'm concerned as my 7 year old son has had a couple of wetting accidents in class. This hasn't been an issue before but it's now happened twice in the last 6 weeks. He's told us that he knew he needed to go but hasn't asked the teacher

spinal anaesthetic made asthma worse?
Hi I was in hospital on Wednesday for a minor op (not asthma related). I was supposed to get a general anaesthetic but because of my lung issues anaesthetist recommended a spinal instead. Since then I feel quite wheezy. Is this likely due to the anaesthetic or just because I'm a bit "off" after the
