For three months I have been unable to keep any food and very little fluids down. I have lost 32lbs and the doctor's have no answers. I've had blood work, ultrasound, barium swallow, gastric emptying test, endoscopy with biopsy... Everything comes back negative. Only one doctor indicated there was an

GCA and Pred reduction
I started at 60 mg Predisilone and am now on 45 mg. How do you know if you are getting a flare or a reaction to the reduction - ie your body doesnt like having less steroid? Also - I think I have been suffering from Sinus problems but I think I read that GCA symptoms can include sinus - does anyone

Thoughts can help RA
Each of us is an individual and each affected differently by this disease, the way we think about it can also make a difference, sometimes without us even being aware of what we are doing. If we refer to ourselves or think of ourselves in a negative manner this becomes a habit and a habit thats hard

White willow bark
Hi everyone, Has anyone taken white
willow
bark
(either herb-as-tea or as capsule) for inflammation? I'm curious to hear feedback on this herb as I suspect it might be good for those of us with Hashimoto's (I'm convinced Hashi's is an inflammation disorder - immune system disorders tend to be).

Trouble swallowing
I have dysphagia, shortness of breath, sore throat, itchy painful ears. A feeling that my throat is constricting and pain in my chest I know is costachondritis, I also have acid reflux, incredibly painful heartburn. Also I have dizziness when I bend over and stand from bending to the point where I crashed

Went to Manchester to see the Prof on Wednesday...
Hi All. Well, here I am, back from the MRI in Manchster. Bit daunting at first, small entrance, millions of people but Rhuematology and the Lupus centre were a walk away from the masses. We entered a quiet side clinic which was all calm and serene. The first thing I noticed as we approached the reception

Unexpected Pregnancy with APS
I had a positive pregnancy test this morning. Last year my OB/GYN told me that carrying to term could kill me. I'm at the doctor now, waiting. I've been switched (first call was to my hematologist) from Pradaxa to Lovonox shots. My husband doesn't know yet because he's at work. I start law school next
