I have dysphagia, shortness of breath, sore throat, itchy painful ears. A feeling that my throat is constricting and pain in my chest I know is costachondritis, I also have acid reflux, incredibly painful heartburn. Also I have dizziness when I bend over and stand from bending to the point where I crashed to the floor.
I had a camera down my nose, ears checked glands checked all ok. A barium swallow was ordered and it showed a small diverticulum in the pharynx. Thank the LORD is small. Nothing to do for it.

Consider singing does not need to be loud just working the muscles, can help with breathing and swallow action. If it goes well you could be on x factor and if not bulk buy earplugs
Sorry you have so much to contend with your sore throat can be from th acid reflux as that is what caused mine as it can burn and ulcerate. I commiserate with the costo as I have suffered for 6 years now and it is the bane of my life. I am pleased that they have not found anything more serious. Take care.x
Sorry to hear your problems. Sounds like you've had good advice...singing 😊
So very sorry to hear this.. and nothing can be done. Please t asks care of yourself.Someone is always here if you just need to let off some steam.Be blessed.Peck🐤
I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your barium. There is a medical condition called GERD that creates too much acid, I was wondering if this is what you have as it is supposed to be extremely painful. Please take care of yourself.
Hello Vonny, so sorry to hear what you are dealing with symptom wise at the moment. Have the doctors checked your thyroid function and B12 levels? If the thyroid is underactive the valve that allows stomach acid to reflux will not close properly. Sometimes this is due to too little acid, surprisingly! Lack of B12 can leave you feeling very unwell, my breathing problems were an early symptom. Wishing you well. MariLiz
I know this sounds a bit odd, but I am grateful they found the diverticula, at least it proves I'm not pretending, having fibromyalgia all sorts of symptoms appear, investigated and dismissed as normal.
