Following second hip operation 12 weeks ago I am now struggling with symptoms which I am not 100% sure are PMR or arthritis, (its happened around 9 weeks after the op again) neck discomfort (like a
whiplash

Newbie question about sleep
I was fine for a few days except for an increasingly sore neck (
whiplash
?), then exactly a week after I woke up in shock and felt like I was going to pass out. I somehow manged to get to the docs and then down to A&E for an MRI which came up ok.

Introduction
I had been in a car accident a few months before and had suffered
whiplash
which the rheumatologist thought might be responsible for it.

More from Doc Peatfields book
One obvious example here is
whiplash
injury. Something like 30% of people who suffered
whiplash
injury have been found to develop hypothyroidism". Page 50 Surgery. "There are three operations which seem to affect people most especially.

The 5 times it has happened have usually been preceded by severe sharp pain from non-related problem(screwdriver accidentally went into hand - sharp muscle pain from spine bending over to put shorts on , car shunting into his causing
whiplash
, severe bowel pain during an IBS episode and really bad neck

Totally unfair!!
I was the one who was injured - you'd never believe what he's claiming happened to him -
whiplash
, chest pains, no car for 2 weeks, fear of driving, fear of sleeping.....the letter stated that he was driving at 30 miles an hour - witnesses say it was more like 80, in a 40 area, and that I sped out in

How is anyones post viral meningitis exercise program going?
So, I went back to work after three months and was pretty fatigued, then got
whiplash
and had corti steroids for about four weeks to calm inflammation down. It worked but made the depression worse. However, the specialist set me a cardio exercise program to do.

Hashimoto's, joint hypermobility and Basilar artery syndrome--very confused!
In 1997 i was involved in a car accident which resulted in
whiplash
injuries and concussion injuries to most of my joints. Initially I wasn't worried and thought I would be okay after a few weeks.

Explaining pain anyone? My post viral meningitis experience so far....
I had a
whiplash
injury three months ago and the result was intermittent extreme pain, off to emergency in the early days and a weeks worth of morphine. That type of thing. A pretty extreme overreaction.

Am I back? 1 year on, a new start and new goals
This year was planned to be a really good running year for me, but one thing and another (mostly
whiplash
) has stopped me in my tracks.

Reflexology - did I really pay for turture!
Years of very stressful situations including family illness, a
whiplash
injury and finally it was a virus that finished me off. Back to the reflexology... The area relating to thyroid felt fine. Not uncomfortable or anything. However the area for my neck and lumber back was painful.

Pain Clinic Nightmare
I argued that this is not muscle but cervical in my neck (3 car accidents /
whiplash
and I was diagnosed 12 years ago with spondylosis.) I haven't had an xray since 2006 and the pain has gotten to the point that the merest vibration /jiggle (ie washing machine spinning) puts me into a flare.
