Whiplash like pain
Has anyone ever gotten
whiplash
pain in their neck and back for no reason. I slept sitting up in a recliner for a few days because I was congested, but I’ve done that plenty of times before . I have extensive bone mets. Thinking it could be the pain from that.

Something to think about
Pandemics, the
whiplash
of the market, extreme weather events, political unrest, personal disasters, tragedy, heartbreak. We’ve been through it. We’re still here. We’ve suffered and that suffering has produced character, character that gives us hope, gives us faith, gives us strength.

Avoidance and suicidality
I'm just tired of this emotional
whiplash
that never seems to end, and just always recurs. I'm struggling with some computer problems right now too; I ordered a new one to arrive Wednesday, but just feel overwhelmed and like I'm on an island alone.

I am thinking do I have long-term
whiplash
? although it is perhaps strange that none of the neurologists mentioned this!

Sharp pains in head - lupus related or something else?
Hi all, I have general nerve pain in my head ever since I had concussion and
whiplash
seven years ago - so I'll get fibromyalgia shoulders and pains travelling up my scalp, particularly the right side. It's not that troublesome.

Very confused and don't know what to do to help my body heal
The only thing relevant is that I have had more ibuprofen then I normally would between September and January for
whiplash
. I hadn't had any ibuprofen for about two weeks before this began. This was also a very stressful period due to car accidents that caused the
whiplash

A recommendation for a short weights/strength routine
I struggle with rows/shoulder work, have a recent
whiplash
and ancient rugby (yeah I kid you not I played for my Uni in 1992-1995) shoulder injury and usually end up with a shoulder inpingement with any arm work. Pushups are out, causes traps to go huge and everything else switches off.

Sudden onset of vertigo - could it be thyroid related?
I have arthritis in the cervicals (old
whiplash
injury from teenage years). But this time my neck pain included the muscles on the right side of my neck as if I had strained it. But cant think how I could have done that other than sleeping in a bad position.

Appealing to the collective wisdom here For the last few weeks I’ve had an increasingly stiff neck, potentially I gave myself a slight
whiplash
by moving too quickly in the wrong direction, but I do recall my neck was one of the most uncomfortable things before diagnosis.

A few more TBI facts; neurological, physiological, psychological.
Whiplash
and impact injuries damage the neck, face and head. Nerves in the cervical spine get impinged and tissue damage causes inflammation that compress nerves, both cause tremors in the body and affect signalling to the vestibular system and facial muscles causing balance and visual issues.

Injury years after fibromyalgia diagnosis
So I am already diagnosed with fibro, I hadn’t had a flare for a long time so managed to go back to part time work as a learning assistant Unfortunately yesterday I took a blow to the head with a close contact and hard leather football causing mild concussion and
whiplash
My body is now in major flare

Fell today as I didn't see the edge of a path.
Hit my chin, broke my nose, fractured hand,
whiplash
but great news though... I didn't fall off my push bike... 😉🙂 the above happened as I 'walked' within my crutch support. At least it was a beautiful sunny day, now to ease the

Chiropractor or not
After falling out of bed about three months ago, I have been left with a
whiplash
sort of injury in my right shoulder. I visited a chiropractor who indicated that my whole back and right shoulder is very stiff and would benefit with some treatment.

I know that setbacks happen but I’m in a place now where they happen so fast I get
whiplash
. It’s all fear based. So hard for me to have self-compassion though I have lots of compassion for others. Why is that? (Rhetorical question!). Acceptance, acceptance, acceptance. Real hard for me.
