What treatments for Lung Cancer?
My brother has been diagnosed with stage three NSCLC. Adenocarcinoma. He had a Mediastinoscopy/bronchoscopy to reveal the cancer was in the three lymph nodes that he had removed. This was over 6 weeks ago. They state its inoperable and incurable. He is due to start chemotherapy this week. His own GP

Unhelpful gp
I went to see gp yesterday (not my usual one) I took with me a list of blood tests I wanted doing following advice on here. He was very much "I'm the doctor here" and asked me to explain in detail all my symptoms and why I was requesting these tests. I did this and asjed did he think there may be a possibility

Help with bloods please
I was on 2 grains of Armour and my previous bloods were TSH 0.2 (0.3 - 4.20) FT3 3.5 (4.0 - 6.80) FT4 11.3 (12.0 - 22.0) I increased with endocrinologist's agreement to 2.5 grains as I was still getting hypo symptoms. My latest bloods are: TSH <0.05 (0.3 - 4.20) FT3 5.1 (4.0 - 6.80) FT4 15.1 (12.0 -

What do they mean by a false positive in regards to AMA testing?
I tested positive for AMA-M2 back in Oct. and it was a 68. I had a biopsy this past Jan. and it showed a fatty liver but no PBC. The liver Dr. Still wants to monitor my bloodwork and he wants to see me back in a year. I also had elevated alpha Feta protein and C-Reactive Protein. The pathology report

Inflammation Kills! pertinent article for thyroid patients
Sometimes, thyroid patients don’t even know where the inflammation exists in their body, except that their high ferritin reveals it, or their C-Reactive Protein or ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate or sed rate) lab tests reveal it. Other times, it’s obvious by the pain they notice in their bodies.
