Blood cholesterol testing are changing depending up on the GP practice. If any additional blood testing can identify a problem then it is best to go for the blood test to make sure all is OK. It is always better to look for the three blood numbers, BP, blood glucose and blood cholesterol.

If you have been asked or offered to go for this blood test, go for blood test to make sure that the numbers are within the limit.

Most of the response comes from UK!, I am afraid I do not know what is available in India!

In UK a GP practice doctor request a number of blood tests, NHS it is free. Once the results are available GP can discuss medication or more tests. Average individuals do not know much of blood testing therefore it is left to a GP to request for blood tests specification.

But in India famous Doctors avilable in Bangalore Narayana hrudayala they make transplantation of heart and also so many foreigners are also came to here for treatment . And also online operation
