West Nile Virus

I live in Southern California, and I acquired the West Nile Virus from a mosquito bite in September 2023. From there I came down with Viral Encephalitis, and have been struggling badly ever since. I also had nerve damage in both shoulders and neck.

I was just diagnosed with shingles and have been taking Rinvoq for 5 years now . It works great for me! I have not had shingles vaccine. Has anyone had shingles while taking Rinvoq and did your dr let you continue taking it after you get over shingles?

I've been invited to have the shingles vaccine as I've turned seventy. As I'm taking prednisolone is it safe to have the vaccine ?

Even though I received 2 shigles vaccinations I now have shingles and it is a real pain.
