This is the link to the study. It could open the door for more targeted treatment. Obviously tons of people get EBV and don’t end up with M.S. That’s why I’m saying it is a factor. Other factors come into play too.

TY! Targeted B cell therapy for specific EBV altered/rogue/disregulated B cells 🤔 Sounds like 30 years away, but I'm also a big fan of none of today's babies going through this, so I hope this goes somewhere. Also sounds much safer than the antiviral treatments available for HIV, which few are privy to.
Now I want a saliva swab during a relapse! (Curiosity only, it wouldn't change a thing)
I read comments from someone in the trial online and found it interesting that they took her samples while in a relapse and then while stable. I hope more on this research gets published.
I know that I had it twice in high school, although my understanding is that once it is in your system it never really leaves. If I am wrong, forgive me, but that is what my doctor told us at that time. Of course, that was in the time when dinosaurs roamed the earth!
As far as I know I never had EBV and I still got MS
Hi, not sure what EBV IS? Talk soon.🌻
